imo it's no different than a woman displaying an ample cleavage, showing off her pretty toes, or flaunting a great pair of legs. As for guys flashing their abs -- LOVE IT! For some it may be a result of naturally low body fat. But for others...it takes "hard work and discipline" to get that look -- I can appreciate that and, I value those traits in a person. Although visible abs weren't a requirement during my sub search -- an active and athletic person; with a healthy body fat percentage was. To put it simply....being a JOCK was a must! smile When I met my boy here on CM, the very first photo that I ever saw of him was simply a body shot. Over time he proved to have the body, the brains, and the right "je ne sais quoi" to keep me interested. We have long since crossed over into real time and, November will mark 2 years for us! [Fast reply] Yes, assuming that someone who's beautiful or sexy or physically fit is therefore lacking in intelligence, is just another bias. The assumption is rather lacking in intelligence, itself. It's unreasonable and unfounded. How is judging someone's intelligence and personal merit, based upon their looks, any less superficial than wanting someone only for their looks?

For me, a little mystery goes a long, long way. I'm into skinny or chunky intellectuals :-) .

I would not put a whole lot into the 'who's viewing me" feature. I know for me personally, I click on profiles for several reasons. Usually because I am going to respond to a post and want to see who I am talking to.

I generally don't mind a nice torso shot, but it is kind of strange to see nothing but a chest as a profile pic. I've seen some others that were just ridiculous. Men quite obviously sucking in their stomachs in their chest shots. They look completely absurd. Like no one is going to notice. Most men just don't understand the art of sublty.

Well I wouldn't necessarily discount someone with an ab shot but it doesn't do a whole lot for Me. And if it looks as though he only keeps them by spending hours at the gym each day ... then he's obviously going to be way too busy to be a useful sub to Me! Also, I would assume that he wouldn't be interested in someone like Me who can't work out for medical reasons and whose figure has always been more than ample. I know some can't post faces, I can't (and I probably post too many personal details as it is!), so just a nice clothed shot giving Me an idea of overall body proportions is fine!
