Most people here I'm sure know what bratwurst is. Sausages are very popular in Central Europe, not least in Poland, where every town and city has its own sausage known as kielbasa, so Warsaw has 'kielbasa warszawska', Krakow has 'kielbasa krakowska', and Torun has 'kielbasa torunska'. There is 'kielbasa mysliwska' or 'hunter's sausage', made up of quality meat, not as moist as other sausages but also not dried. It is sold in butcher's shops in links bent into a U shape but it is also sold in half metre lengths. My former domme in Warsaw, among a few other dommes in Poland know that it makes a very very effective tawse. Let me tell you IT HURTS!!!!!!!! Now you'd think that being spanked with a sausage is harmless, because if you whack someone too hard with a sausage it breaks up. No such luck, the sausage is amazingly consistent and holds together really well. The pain experienced is midway between being hit with a cane and a wooden paddle. The welts left are thicker than from a cane. Similarly I have come across rhubarb being used in a similar way.
