This weekend during a scene I started laughing and for the life of me I could not stop till it ran its course. Not that what was happening tickled at all. Has anyone else done this before? I think its kinda cute..but I wonder how other Doms would have reacted if this happened with their sub.

Hmmmm Intresting.... I had my Sub do the very same thing this weekend. How did I handle it? I believe I told her, "I'll give you something to laugh about" and kept right on going, (SMACK!)

I'm known for being quite emotional when I'm aroused. Everything from laughing to crying and whatever else in between.

Happens all the time. Scene space is not rational space and emotional outbursts of all types are to be expected. I witnessed a scene this past weekend, between a Dom and his submissive, that seemed that as the spanking he was giving her got more intense she would giggle and laugh that much more. And believe me it was that type of contagious laughter that I even had a hard time not laughing myself. I also saw no negative reaction on his part, actually he seemed to be quite enjoying himself. I talked with a Domme once that told me that if her submissive didn't start laughing while she was whipping him then she knew she wasn't doing something right. It seems it happens and I wouldn't worry about unless it caused a negative reaction from the Dom, then I would suggest that you make sure you discuss the possibility of this happening before your next scene.

Thanks everyone. It just kinda shocked me. I had never laughed during a scene before and it seemed the more he hit the more I laughed and the more I thought it was funny I was laughing. lol Good thing he didnt mind.

It's made worse when you laugh till you hiccup and then the other person with you laughs so hard at your hiccups that they also get hiccups, its all over rover at that point!

I don't take myself too seriously and I avoid those people who do. There's a time and place for everything, but if you can't laugh there's something wrong.

I've been wracking my brain since I first read this post... and I can't come up with a situation where it wouldn't make sense. Laughing is good :) laughing is healing, and most of all, laughing shows that you're comfortable (unless, of course, it's nervous laughter, but then there's worse problems than are worth going into. Sometimes I laugh at the sounds I make... I can't help it. Likewise, I might have to stifle a giggle when I'm with a partner (especially when they pull the 'You love my dick, don't you' and even more obscene lines). I'm not one for dirty talk during sex, and very little during play... because I'll laugh. Dominants get in the hang of it. Some of them like making their submissives laugh, some don't... so the ones that do will end up trying, and the ones that don't wil find different, more 'serious' submissives who don't laugh. It's a matter of taste... but I say laugh it up! It shows that you're having a good time which is usually a compliment to your partner! has anyone ever laughed at themselves while they're alone? Those are the times I giggle and just can't stop XD

He said the exact same thing, and continued caning me until i stopped laughing, and went to my happy place. It doesn't always happen, but i have a keen sense of the rediculous, and sometimes it gets away from me. [:D]

I laugh when I'm in pain to a certain point. It's just me, I can't really help it. Lots of people do I hear so it's not unsual in the least.

It depends on the atmosphere of the scene.. But in general i laugh all the time, He laughs all the time.. We don't to take it all so seriously that humour isn't allowed.. It's all good [:)]

Partly because of nerves, partly because sometimes the strangest things will strike me as funny... and things that aren't supposed to be funny [&:]... and partly because of the loss of emotional control. i cracked up in mid-scene against my will in public when a certain rap remix came on that had the girls from Annie singing "Its a hard-knock life for us"...That time i was not pleased.
