Kittin, I am hearing just the opposit. Of course we all hear what we want to hear don't we? But the truth is, many social conseratives were staying home in November and now they are not. In fact, her support of her daughter even strengthens the vote of social conseratives. BTW... you were the wone that brought free condoms into the mix, not me and I just pointed out that not only do condoms, free or otherwise, not work, I gave a specific example of where and how they were not working.

Wrong FDD,condoms do work,both in preventing pregnencys and the transference of STD's.And what you gave was an example of your own anecdotal experience...nothing specific at all.

Ah, okay then. So, what about healthcare? The economy? Iraq? Surely, the issue of where semen goes isn't the most important one here, is it?

I think McCain knows that Palin will have to drop out sooner or later with all the media-friendly controversies she carries with her (he knew about it all during the vesting process...and knows how to "spin" that fact away to his advantage). Even if Palin isn't the VP candidate by November, McCain will be seen as a hero by picking a woman--during an election bristling with resentment over "women candidates for President" mess. One OLD friend of mine told me, don't mess with the old guys, they got a load of tricks up their sleeves. [;)] So true, so true...

So, after one major decision by each candidate, it stacks up as 1. A carefully-thought out pick with a lot of experience, decided on only after a very thorough vetting. 2. A political hail-mary who hadn't been vetted in any meaningful way and whom the candidate had only met once or twice. I think that sums up pretty well what kind of leader both Obama and McCain would be if they win. I'm voting for #1. I've had enough of #2 the last 8 years.
