Is there anyway to meet available domms in person? Kind of like a social club. I am new to this and feel my intentions come off more in person, and would feel it is easier to eet people face to face first. So that intentions and stuff come across the right way. I am not suggesting one on one first meetings, I mean like a place where a person trying to get into the life style can introduce himself in person.

you could always try local munches/events/meetings, and when you feel comfortable play parties in your general area. Those are all face to face venues, but they are not meat markets.
There are no "dom marts" or "DomsRus".
If you are strictly looking for just play, or to try out your kinks, not a developing releationship with a dominant woman, I would strongly suggest visiting a pro-dom who will provide a safe place for you to expiriment with your kinks, try them on for size, see if they are what you want to try, or just a erotic fantasy.

Your profile indicates you live in NYC.  There is a wide variety of BDSM organizations in the city, including http://www.tes.org/.  People of all genders, orientations, and statuses attend TES meetings and events, including "available domms."

I would not call all or even most pro's money grubbers.They provide a service for funds.
The reason I suggested a pro is simple........ in a developing releationship with a dominant woman, you have no guarentee of play,( so you can explore your kinks.) while with a pro you do

Very true Faery, I was refering to exploration of fetish/kinks, not sex. If sex if the expected outcome....... well thats a whole other "kettle of fish".
I was not saying someone should not explore a releationship, I was saying if you don't know if it is for you, and your not sure, try a pro, explore in a controled arena.... also it saves wasteing the time of a non pro dominant woman. :)

I'm not meaning to bust your chops here Faery.  For me, I take a woman to dinner and for outings because I *like* her and because we enjoy each other's company.  It really has little to do with sex, orgasms, and masturbation.  (Alright.  I'll admit that "like" sometimes turns into mutual "lust" in which case there may be sex, orgasms, and masturbation for her... for me... for us both.  Just sayin'. :-)

I go both ways on this.  As a pro and a non pro dominant, I have been the first bdsm experience for...oh, more than a few people.  Many of them still talk to me, so I guess things went well. [:)]    

It helps that I am a "casual" player---a scene is not a commitment for me, and I don't have sex with play partners, so I don't require a lot of wining and dining.  I DO require entertainment and attention, so I guess that's just as bad!  I don't mind helping a person I LIKE explore various bdsm activities, under my parameters.  (Pesky stuff, like I stay dressed the whole time... I am SUCH a spoilsport!)   I know that there are other casual players out there who will play with someone who is open and honest about his  interests. 

As  a pro,  I got dressed in the fancy outfits, and had use of lovely furniture.  I still stayed dressed the whole time!  But, the guy was not obligated to pay attention to me at all outside the session.  He got his fun, I got some aerobic activity, some fun, and defrayed my overhead.   Whatever works.
