xxxxpinkxxxx -> pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:10:06 AM)

being a pro subbie, wondered what others though about the service we offer?? and weather or not you would visit a pro sub..really interested in comments...thanks (god i am letting myself in for it now!!)

mistoferin -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:14:16 AM)

I guess I don't really understand what it is that a pro submissive does. Is it bottoming for money? If so then I don't really see that there is "submission" in that type of scenario. Is there sexual activity? If there is then what seperates it from prostitution?

xxxxpinkxxxx -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:16:02 AM)

absolutley no sexual contact at all..its a service for doms..i am a lifestyle sub so submission is a choice for me, however some subs do it just for the money..

That's a rather rude way of posing a question.

Of course pro subs don't completely submit to their clients. We'd be doing all kinds of stupid stuff.  "Hey, uhmm, I bought this bullwhip off of e-bay ok? Just... just stand in the corner and pour sweet and sour sauce all over your body, and I'll whip it off your face." There are set limits, and with the couple of girls I know, it's just like being a pro-domme, there is no sexual activity.

zakkan -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:18:09 AM)

In a way it makes more sense than pro-dommes. You pay to whip people, rather than paying to be whipped. To observers visiting pro-subs will be less of an enigma.

missturbation -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:18:27 AM)

I don't really tend to think about pro anythings very much. I guess just like anyone else you are providing a service, everyone does it, nothing special.

I do rather think you are opening yourself to a barrage of flames here though and suspect from what you have written, you know it.

If this is a way to promote your services it might not work in your favour.

The few pro Dom/ Dommes i know have sexual activity with their clients so thats *BS* as an absolute.

Lynnxz -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:21:41 AM)

OP, you might want to change up your profile a bit. If you leave it as is, people are going to flag it down. :) A couple forums down, there's a 'professional services' area where you can post your location, website etc etc.

Actually, if you have anything at all about being a pro in your profile, you'll get it flagged  until you are no longer on the 'new kids' list. [8|]

Well there really was no rude intent behind it at all. As I said in the first line...I guess I really don't understand what it is. The questions were to seek clarification, nothing more.

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:27:50 AM)

always thought a pro sub was there to help the pro dom or rather...assist the pro dom.  also with demonstrations at shows.

So is it just kind of like being a body to beat on? (and no, I am not trying to be rude if it sounds that way)

Can you expound on what you mean by that a little?

Highlight what ya like but you inferred pro doms/ dommes do not engage in sexual activity.

I wasn't referring to pro subs you knew or otherwise i was referring to dom / dommes.

CalifChick -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:31:09 AM)

Why do you care, or even want to know, what others think of what you do?  Shouldn't the only opinion of any importance be of those who are willing to pay you for whatever you do?

TwoNYCDommes -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:31:52 AM)

My take on the pro thing is that it might make sense for someone seeking to satisfy a particular physical fetish, but the financial aspect would alter the dynamic in such a way that it wouldn't be the same sort of power exchange as a non-pro relationship.
As it is the D/s side that is most important to me, a pro-sub wouldn't fit my requirements.  On the other hand, as I am a sadist as well as a domme, I suppose I could enjoy hurting someone who was being paid to suffer for me (assuming I was somehow unable to find a non-pro partner to hurt, and had extra cash burning a hole in my pocket).

Extra free advertising ? [;)]

daddysprop247 -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:36:45 AM)

i don't get the pro-sub thing either, at least not in the way described by the OP. from what i gather, pro-subs typically serve as bottoms in bdsm activities...their clients are seeking bottoms for scening or play, not submission. so i don't get where the "sub" part comes in.

in a way i suppose i am a pro-sub, or at least have been...my Master has at times rented me out to others for his profit. and i was indeed submitting to these other people...with the exception of one client, bdsm activities were never involved. but i don't think that's what people typically think of when they hear "pro-sub."

DomDolf -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:47:11 AM)

Is this an advertisement? Almost every post from pro-anything that has a vanilla cone next to it seems to be letting everyone know exactly what they do. May this be a seemingly sly way of getting exposure? I use it for marketing my professional talents... on boards that allow it.

I have been very active for a long time. You know the one thing I have not seen yet? People come out and discuss that they have or will hire pro-dominants or pro-submissives. This may be too private a topic for a public forum.

I do not want to discourage the OP from posting, but I want her to understand how it's coming across to me and likely others.

Lynnxz -> RE: pro submissives (9/5/2008 11:47:35 AM)

Perhaps I just worded it wrong.

None of the pro subs, or pro dommes, that I know, have sexual intercourse with their clients. Yes, I'm well aware there are prostitutes with whips, and dommes who just enjoy doing a bit more.

Most subs don't like to allow bruising, and serious marks. I don't- I'd be walking around with a bruised rear end 24-7, and while I enjoy it when they remind me of C, I don't particularly want to be flailing around every time I try to pee. There is a Sub in New York who identifies as a 'Professional Masochist' and regularly is involved in sadistic sessions. I have no doubt that she charges a bit more though. :P

Many girls will work though a 'house', or with domme, just for safety reasons, and so she won't have to front the equipment costs. I  live too far away from the closest dungeon, so I do mostly solo work, and a few sessions a month with a domme friend of mine.

As far as clients, many of them are new to the lifestyle, and haven't the slightest idea of how to get started. These sessions are usually the most fun, and might end up with the *entire* toybag strewn out across the room, and him getting to experiment around.

Why the 'Professional Submissive'?  I suppose because it sounds better than "Professional Ass-To-Beat"
