(Old thread but don't care lol) All the small things that I try to appericate, especially when the big things are going to the crapper. -A really nice cool breeze blowing through the entire house -My kids getting along and laughing instead of fighting and crying -a $1.50 Raspberry Vanilla Capp from the gas station in town (love 'em) - some really good tunes in a totally silent house that I can sing along terribly with -my cat, Hobo Moe, coming up and yelling in my face for love and attention -a ride or drive in the country with no destination -Fresh pillow cases to bury my face in -a good movie that still moves me in some way even though I've seen it a million times -daisies- esp. the brightly colored ones with sparkles on them - my Master dancing with me in the living room because He just had to hold me -when I roll away in the night, only to be pulled back up against Him -my son the first minute he walks in the door from school and he gets this big smile on his face -my daughter when I rock her and she can't stop smiling -bubble baths And on, and on, and on lol

My wife makes me happy. It isn't any particular thing that she does... it's simply that she exists in my space. I can look at her in a flannel shirt and baggy jeans, covered in sawdust as she does her woodworking and burst into a sudden smile. If I wake up at night, just seeing her in the bed next to me fills me with a deep-seated sense of joy. I could be happy working anywhere, living anywhere, doing anything, so long as she's there with me. I felt this way about her within an hour of meeting her... long before she was my wife or my slave and I expect it will continue until one of us dies. sighs Some days I despair of ever getting that whole BadAss Dom thing down cold. Oh, and I'm pretty sure she'd give a similar answer.

Those few chances i get to spend intimately with Ma'am (who's celebrating Her birthday with Her husband/Owner right now [:)]). I don't mean sexually or in play, but just She and i spending time together and being comfortable; no one else, no tasks or jobs. Usually, we're either out at a social or play party when we're together; or even more likely, doing some kind of work. As much as love being with Her no matter what we're doing, and it does make me happy to know that i am able to be of service to Ma'am and Sir; it doesn't hold a flame to those peaceful, casual moments.

Let's see, there's a list of small things and big things: -Driving over the bay bridges on my way to the beach, windows down, wind in my hair, listening to Jimmy Buffett yodeling about boat drinks. -Sitting on my porch, feet up on the coffee table, reading a book -The sound of 50 cars getting the green flag at one of my dad's races -Hot engine smell -My cat Reggie walking up to me while I'm asleep and waking me up by landing "thud" on my back, falling asleep and purring -Phantom of the Opera (listening to it now!) -A great book -Laughing with my friends -Laughing with Sir -spankings! -video games -excellent food from Bern's mmmmm steak. There's more, I just can't think of them!

So very true! There are so many things and situations that bring joy and lightness to my world......kittens, thunderstorms, a good rare steak, a book, standing on the beach nude..the sun shnning down and the salty breeze blowing over my body, spending time with family and friends, and just "being" with a special Man who totally gets me, laughter...lol..and the list could go on and on....... This is shallow compared to other's answers, but I just don't care. One of the things that really makes me happy, deep down, just plain old content is having a stitching project on my lap stitch stitching away whilst having our kitty warm up my toes, all while my Sweetie-heart plays Video games to amuse me. Luckily, I get this almost every night. * beams*

4 seperate things make me happy...one is 36, one is 32, one is 27 and one is 14...all 4 hold equal importance in my life; all 4 have the power to make me laugh or cry...and all 4 are more important than even my own life.. [:D]

It's looking at others in the eyes and getting to know them, listening to them and making them laugh and smiles. It's making the day of someone better. It's when it's not about me anymore but about others. I'm happy when everyone around me is. I'm happy when i'm feeling free, when i'm laughing, when i'm dreaming, when i'm discovering about the world, when i'm learning, when i'm loving.... Being happy for me is about looking forward with hope and optimism :)

What makes me truly happy? The collar locked around my neck and all it symbolizes...Mistress's love and devotion, a trust I've never felt before, the honor of belonging to the greatest domme on earth, the strength to tackle any problem life may throw at me, the courage to never back down no matter how bad the odds may be, and the inner peace knowing that I am truly free through the bonds of my enslavement to her. Other things in my life make me content, but it's being able to share my life with Mistress that makes it complete. [:)]
