Hell, i'd settle for only ONE political thread started by the same person per day.  Some people seem to produce them like spermatazoa!

Or it's that they try to compensate by ejaculating threads all over the place  .

Face it, there are those of us that are political junkies...all this time I have been a member and not found the political threads and spent My time on other boards picking at what vanilla people have to say when I could have been here arguing points with strong minded fellow Pervs. All that wasted time!!!! Damn!

As much as I LOVE the political discussion on this part of the forum, I'm getting this real headache about a lot of it lately. Just the constant diet of it on the OTD is making me get really fatiuged....

What does everyone say to this minor suggestion?

For every political thread started, the OP of that thread also posts one that is BDSM related? Just so we can have our veggies, along with the meat, and keep our diet balanced?

Let people post and read what they like.
I don't read 75% of the crap on these boards, because guess what?
I am not interested!
I rarely ever read or post on the Humor or Random Stupidity threads and many make me want to do this  , but guess what?
I would NEVER go there and tell them to stop their threads!
Guess what else?
If people don't respond to threads, they die!

Read and post where you like and skip the rest.
I always wonder about people that attempt to control what people want to discuss
on message boards.

I am on my way out, when I check the boards again, I want to see at least 10 new political threads!

Is that why I am finding so many of them hard to swallow?

I wouldn't mind seeing other topics here as well, but let's face it; things are going to get much more political between now and Nov.  Up until now, it has been just us political junkies that have been involved, as the rest of the electorate wakes up around here, I expect to see this section flooded.... for better or worse, it is going to happen.

Hey I'm not a junkie!
I can quit any time, any time I tell ya.

The "Off Topics" section is the rubbish bin and loony bin of collarchat, polarber. I'm afraid the specialised fora is where it's at, if you want to avoid politics. (Although even there, politics rules - see Gor, for example, but the subject matters are rarely 'party political'.)

Wish I could comment on the subculture you mentioned, kittin, but if I want to remain on this list unmoderated, I'm afraid it's out of bounds for me.

I think that's another example of "if you don't like it, don't pay it any attention." You're also pretty famous for Gor hating. Relax a little!

Maybe it is just here, but other American inspired forums I visit don't have this fascination with the whole circus of nightmares that is the current politics of the US. I asked the question on one of these forums, why is all this bollocks not pursued there, the answer was, even many Americans are fed up with it, some even refuse to switch on the tv now as they know, it will be full of politcal nit picking, as is evidently on here, picking nits after the event.

We really should revitalize the Collarme Male Eye Candy Thread.  Now that was a good time.

Ugh. The only thing more depressing than the current political situation is my BDSM life. How about we start a thread about fluffy kittens instead?

Although I admit I have been the instigator of much of this, why not ban the pub fighting  topics of , politics, religion and sport ?

That out of the way, lets see how well we can offend each other with other topics.

................More pertinent to our subject is Arthur Gilbert’s “Buggery and the British Navy, 1700-1861,” Journal of Social History, 1976. Gilbert suggests there’s some basis to the belief that the Royal Navy’s traditions consisted of “rum, sodomy, and the lash” (a witticism often misattributed to Winston Churchill)..........

I love Vendeval's idea of a Collarme Meet and Beat.

I swear I think some Men here have forgotten that Women (and Men) are fun to fuck because they are too focused on the latest new-oid from blogland.

Sorry damned state of affairs, if you ask me.

If you'd rather be the first to post an instanty-Op about the latest news-oid on politics than get your groove on, you may need to check yourself.  Just a thought.
