Why do I have to hear 'I cannot wear a condom, cuz when I try to put one on, it makes my dick limp?'

are you actually expecting us to believe that all the Doms you sleep with are willing to have unprotected sex?

Nope....not buying it.

But..a lil food for thought...if they are limping out when it comes time to actually do the deed...perhaps it is the realization of what they are about to do?

Erectile Dysfunction is a HUGE indicator of an unhealthy cardiovascular system.
If you're having problems getting blood flow to the penis, other organs are also having trouble getting fresh, oxygen rich blood.
Makes sense, yes?

What to do about it?  Diet and exercise.  I know ya'll might be getting sick of hearing me say it, but somebody has to say it to get thru to others.
You'd be surprised at all the ailments you can cure with a good diet and regular moderate PHYSICAL activity.

Humm.

Well, they're not in the peak of health they probably were at 20...but neither am I.

No, I don't have unprotected sex.  Especially when proferred a limp dick.

This is what I don't get:

Is there something 'unDomly' about admitting you need to see the MD?

Especially if ED is just a symptom of a larger, possibly fatal problem?

When I read your posts I get the impression that the person or people in question have no problem getting an erection.  The problem is that they lose the erection when trying to put on a condom...or that is what they say.  If they get an erection to begin with, then the problem is NOT Erectile Disfunction.  Either they are trying to con you into accepting bareback or their actual problem is probably psycological.

Now, if there is a real problem then it should not be un-domly for them to seek medical or psycological attention.  After all, if they can't take care of their own lives and problems then how can they take good care of a sub or slave?

in my experience, doms don't disregard ED treatments; they've thought about them, used them, got horrible side effects from them or have chosen other ways to get off or get their partner off that are so much safer as well as cheaper...

it's akin to menopause, in my opinion.  hell, i'd love to have the hgh hormone so i'm not losing muscle tone so rapidly and only because i'm menopausal.  i'd also love to get rid of hot flashes forever, as well as never getting all that extra body fuzz, but guess what?  i'm not disregarding all the treatments i can get; i can't afford them as i have no insurance, and some of the treatments are far worse for me than any of the symptoms...

sooooooooo, in the end, it all boils down to facing the fact that we are getting older; now those of us who are willing to blatantly admit that we don't fuction like we did when we were younger, accept this fact, and those who choose not to, make up little white lies as to why something isn't working up to par...

it doesn't mean, however, that we are disregarding anything, except maybe the way potential partners decipher how we choose to handle our own situations and choices.

Actually, and speaking as a sex worker, I think a lot of males do have issues with performance when wearing condoms.  I wonder how many women have tried to have orgasms with a dental dam over their clitoris?  The sensations are different, and the mere mental habit of it can be enough to psych guys out.

That's not an excuse not to wear one of course, simply that I don't think all guys are lying when they say they can't perform as well without one.  So you either do other things, or sex doesn't happen.

No, they never get hard Igor.  Ergo, the inability to put a condom on....which is a bit confusing, because where exactly do they think their penis is going without being hard?

I think it has to do with maturity wheather you go and get help for something like this. Sure it's hard, but just do it.

Like someone wrote up there, it can be a big indicator of their cardiovascular fitness. A health issue is a health issue, wheather your penis is attached to it or not.

Men's ego's are fragile, just tell him that it happens to everyone as they get older and just to get it all over and done with, it's for his own good.

Unless you've been living in a cave, you've seen about 1,000 commercials for the various medicines available now to treat ED.  Some for anyone.  Some for Men with Diabetes, or High Blood Pressure.  The pharmacutecical industry has been pursuing the 'phenom' of ED with more vigor than a cure for AIDS.

So can someone please explain to me what the f**k is 'unDomly' about getting ED treated?  Why do I have to hear 'I cannot wear a condom, cuz when I try to put one on, it makes my dick limp?'

Sorry...not really in the mood to massage a bunch of egos...really just looking for some insight.  I wouldn't expect to hear this from a vanilla guy...so why am I hearing it from Doms?

If I woke up some morning withmy pussy sewn shut, I'd run to the ER and keep going till someone 'fixed' me.  WTF is up with male Doms just accepting they will never have intercourse again?

candystripper

I know right?
Its like EVERY Dom I hit on either tells me he has ED or his washing his hair and watching videos and can't spank me right now!
Whats with that?!

Well, I have to agree that I'm tired of all these damned commercials.  They get annoying.

E.D., hm.  If I can't get it up, I'm sure as hell going to ask a doctor about it, and see if there's something that can be done.

Condoms...  As I like living, and all that fun shit that goes along with it, I do use them.  In fact, they CAN be fun.  As far as them causing me to go limp, uh, no.  If I'm putting one on, that's a sure sign that I'm a gettin' some!  Why the hell would I go limp!?

Of course, yes, I do think that they desensitize some, in fact, I KNOW they do.  That can be a GOOD thing!  Last a little longer in the happy dance?  Yes please.

Soooo, really, all of the whiney little prats that refuse to use one for those reasons, are just full of shit, and probably disease ridden, selfish parasites, who are just looking for instant gratification.  Hell with that, the fun of any trip is in the journey, not the destination, and I want it to last as long as possible.  Not to mention, disease is not something terribly close to the top of my christmas list.

The pills though, yes, from everything I hear, they do work.  And why can't people just accept not being able to have sex again?  Fine, I can't have sex, you can't have chocolate cake because you're suddenly alergic, or cheese because you're lactose intollerant, or a drink or candy bar because you're diabetic.  There are ways around things like that now, simple and effective ways.  Why not take advantage of them?  Someone tells me I can't have sex, chocolate, cheese, soda, a candy bar, or a gin and tonic, you can bet your ass I'm going to be doing my damnedest to find a workaround.

You're not getting it, this is not an erectile dysfunction issue... NONE of this, not ONE IOTA, is about ED.  It is about men who cannot have sex with you.

One of the largest number of new HIV diagnosises are among patients aged 50 and over:

quote:

Although fewer people are being diagnosed with AIDS in the United States and deaths continue to decline, the number of older adults living with HIV/AIDS is larger than ever. Between 1991 and 1996, the number of new AIDS diagnoses rose twice as fast in people over 50 than in those younger than 50. And although the rate slowed from 1996-2000, increases in the older population continued despite great improvements in treatment for HIV that became widely used beginning in 1996-1997. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are more than 78,000 people age 50 years or older living with AIDS in the United States. The most accurate statistics about these older adults are based on an AIDS diagnosis. Some states don't include HIV statistics in their reporting, and, among those that do, the incidence of HIV in older adults may be under reported. New York State began including HIV statistics in 2000. The most recent statistics show that 25% (about 22,000 people) of all people living with HIV and AIDS in New York City are age 50 or older.

It also seems to me, a nonscientist, that the longer a sexual history a person has, the greater the chances are they've been exposed to, are a carrier of, or actually have, any number of other std's.

Let me clear about something:  I do know not every Man can be treated with medicince for ED, or with any method.  If such a Man romanced me, and gently explained we would not be having intercourse, I might still remain in a romance with him.  A great deal would depend on whether mutual sexual pleasure and the value we place on sexuality was there, and in common.

What I am referring to is a bit of chest thumping, followed by 'let's pretend it's hard'; I am confused why a  Man who could get ED treatment would not.

I guess I should have written this Op more compassionately...but damn...where's the compassion for us?
