Hello. I'm SirLucas (I don't know why I can't sign in as SirLucas). I'm a Dominant in the suburbs of Chicago and have been researching and active in the lifestyle for about 2 years. I'm a relatively new Dominant and wanted to know what experienced subs/slaves thought about their favorite assignments/tasks/missions. Which ones were the most fulfilling? The most challenging? The most rewarding? Ones that worked for you? Ones that didn't work? I'd really like to hear them all as this is one of my weak areas. I want to show my potential sub my imagination and leadership by giving her creative and purposeful tasks. Thanks in advance for any help.

Funny about the timing of your post. Just a few minutes ago Gary told me he was sending me on a mission. The dollar store is out of his reading glasses. Today i have to check WalMart, KMart, Target, etc. and try to find him some reading glasses. Since he is busy repairing his rental unit i have taken over the running around town to get all the little things. Perhaps it's not one of the creative tasks of which you wrote...but it does have a purpose in that he'll read easier with new glasses that aren't all scratched up. I expect the mission to be a challenge but if i locate the glasses it will be very fulfilling.

Fox's most challenging task has been learning to make my coffee properly. It took nearly a year for him to get right, but now he does very well. His other task, which is far easier now that we live together, is to refrain from orgasms when not in my presence. He keeps a journal, which he chronicles all his training, vanilla time and D/s

Mr Sir has had me do various things. My favorite was when he told me to do breast bondage on myself and send him a picture. The assignment grew into research on Shibari and learning how to tie different knots. I really enjoyed doing the research and practicing, and he enjoyed the photos!

The one that pleases him and brings a smile to his face. Doesn't matter how big or small it is. It would definitely be different for each and every person. I don't think you are going to be able to gauge what we think and use it towards anyone else.

Hello and welcome to the lifestyle, though 2 years is not all that new. I have many assignments that i have really enjoyed but i think it also needs to put in what type of context. fun/play/sex or service/household or relationship A "mission" that is more play oriented would be being sent a message at work on how he wants the dungeon set up, what toys put out, and how he wants to find me waiting for him.. Favorite tasks that are more service oriented would be the personal bathing service i give him; laying out items, showering him or giving him a bath, shaving, drying off, helping to dress. That is my favorite service task... Over all the best thing ever assigned to me, was writing out my personal goals, short term, mid range and long term goals.. Knowing that my interests, growth, hobbies, education, and well being is important to Sir. Having my goals incorporated into the household and his goals made me feel wonderful and know that the words "permanent" in my contract was more then just words,, he was taking action to make it real.

He's a contractor and gets his glasses scratched within weeks of buying them. Those cheap reading glasses might just solve his problem. As far as tasks, he likes his tea in a monster size mug, 16 oz minimum. He had one that held 24 oz but broke off the handle. I searched and found a pair of that giant size and bought them. Makes him much happier to have his tea the mug he prefers. Play wise, he gave me a list of links to places with bondage photos and instructions to tell him which ones I would like to have done to me. What I learned is that no hoods or masks, they just freak me out, and anything where the model appeared to be enjoying herself. Not very helpful in terms of what to try first, but a good insight into my mind.

Hope the reading glasses will work for him. We go through quite a few pairs every year. Found some at WalMart...strangely priced....$7.98 for one pair...or $7.98 for 3!!! Was really hard to decide on which to buy. lol

My favourite task? - when i get home, after hugging my Sir, he directs me to make myself a cup of tea, him a pot of coffee - and i am to sit down and relax!!!!!! how could you not love this man???

My absolute most favorite assignments have been planning, organizing, cooking, serving, and cleaning up after large (50-70+ attender) meals. I love cooking for a crowd so those are the assignments I most like.

The best tasks or things done are not those given as assignments but those done with out asking or telling or instructing .Doing things before the need arises .Something needs to be done and instead of asking it to be done it just gets done , or something is given in the moment prior or just in time of need .Forethought ,anticipation , and an awareness of another . Those to me are the best . The glasses for example a pair was needed yet was there only one pair in the home ?did only the lost or broken pair get replaced or was say 2 bought and one put away in case the need came up again , and one given ?[:)] Say the bills got mailed and there are only two stamps left does one wait or take care of getting more stamps before the need come s ..

But that's an entirely different subject. Anticipatory service is not the same as fulfilling a task or assignment and the op specifically asked about assignments. From a sub's point of view, anticipatory service can be a double edged sword. If I guess that he'll want a cup of tea when he comes in and he really wanted a glass of cold water, then I've made a mistake. If the dom is harsh about him/her making mistakes, then they will stop trying to do things ahead to avoid a tongue lashing/punishment etc. Not to mention that expecting us to become mind readers isn't fair either. Plus a lot of us enjoy getting orders if they are clearly understood and doable. By having everything be anticapatory service, we don't get our needs met.

I like when he has me write for him. But when I accomplish something more difficult its more fullfilling. Hardest and ongoing (apparently forEVER say the impatient girl) Training my own body to obey his orders and the needs of my own mind. Hardest accomplished: Find another girl to play with in 24 hours. Call me when you have her. Up in my corner of east bumblefuck I still don't know how i managed that one. Sheer dumb luck. She was really nice too. He knows I'm better under a deadline for just about everything... who knew it would apply there.

For me the hardest task yet the most fulfilling one was getting a call at 4PM letting me know just how stressful his day was. I was to prepare a quick meal, shower & be all 'slutted up' and ready when he walked through the door. Get the bad thingies out of the evil bag and have them lined up in our playroom. And have this accomplished by 5:30 when he got home. Doesn't sound unreasonable. Except for the fact I had to suddenly find a sitter for our imp at the last minute and I was at work when he called..... 5 minutes of omg, how the hell does he expect me to do this??? Organizational skills kicked in: 1. Asked my boss if I could leave 15 min early (she's an angel and let me.) 2. Dinner was simple- mac & cheese with bacon bits, and salad 3. Fed imp as I called around for a sitter. Last resort: Nana. Let her know her son wanted "alone" time. She was hoping for another grandimp to spoil, anyway. Packed him up for a sleepover there. 4. Showered & shaved in 5 min, dressed in sluttiest thing I could find. 5. Kissed imp and winked at Nana 6. Unpacked bag, lined up implements of doom 7. Applied cheapo mascara & hooker red lip color. 8. Greeted evil man at door on time. Looking back, I still don't know how I did it, but it was one of the spur of the moment fun times you remember.

Thank you all for your various responses. There are some great things here and added to my own thoughts have given me some good ideas. But maybe I should have been clearer in my original posting. I'm courting a sub and want to give her missions that will show her my strength, ingenuity and thoughtfulness. Somehow I think this is slightly, if not entirely different. Again, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Procuring ... I do it for anyone really ... not just Dominants ... I match make friends .. hell I have even been known to play Cupid for the little buggers at school.
