Overall people are saying she did quite well...
In fact, polls show Obama is losing his arguement about experience.

Karl Rove said tonight that the longer the Democrats keep the election focused on Obama vs. Palin.....the further they will decline in the polls. He said the Democrats have yet to figure out that the more they attack this woman, the more popular she becomes.

Have you seen the state polls? More blue states are coming into play. Obama's lead in Washington is down to 2 points and he's down to 3 points in New Jersey.
The Gallup poll suggests the Republicans are going to gain a bunch of House seats if the trend continues.

The Obama campaign is in serious trouble right now. Attacking Palin about her religion is not going to be enough to change the tide in a country where 60% of Americans go to church every week and 90% believe in god. It is the DEMOCRATS who are out of touch with the people. The public supports politicians who are religious. Only the left-wing thinks that is a bad thing to believe in god.

Religion, experience, they're old news. Now Palin is in the line  of fire for her ignorance about international relations and tonight's blunder about the economy and her repeated lies about that stupid 'bridge to nowhere' and Alaskan earmarks spending. More to come, watch this space.

What's not natural is supporting the death penalty whilst arguing the sanctity of human life from conception onwards. No logic. But she's a chick, so no surprise there, right? Right?

You know, in all the conversations I have had with friends, customers, whomever, many issues come up pro/con the McCain/Palin ticket but, honestly. the bridge to
nowhere has never come up.  I think people here are more concerned about the economy, are they going to have jobs, is the consumer tapped out and their retail store going to go into the red, the high price of electric costs, and the education of their children. 
I think it's only the media and political junkies that nitpic and parse every word, every action of Sarah Palin, and lose sight of the bigger picture affecting us common folk (common folk = "the great unwashed" to those on the West Side of Manhattan and Beverly Hills.

Of course it was edited out. The press lied about the quote and then when she tells the truth they edit it out. Expect to see a lot of this in the next 2 months.

For anyone interested in the truth, an excerpt from Glenn Beck's column on CNN:

Here are her actual words: "Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending them out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."
Palin is clearly praying that we're doing the right thing in Iraq, something sensible for an introspective woman of faith concerned about the lives of our troops to do. She's not saying that she just received a text message from heaven's BlackBerry ordering her to launch missiles. Sorry to disappoint you.

I really think this will be useful in the  real politick we find ourselves dragged into for (reasons we don't know why.....LOL)

Here we sit with islam, you see it as a religious issue?  I can only see it as cute.

So, if I get this, it is a matter of saving money and believing in our god, and that america is the greatest nation on earth and if these fuckin towel heads dont get it, then we have to straighten them out?

What does religion have to do with the american public, there are laws concerning separtation of church and state,. and goddammit, much as I would like to, there is some intellectual starch blocker in my makeup that says if I were to say, I really wanted to tear up that ass, and god said go, but the police said no, says it all, and god forgives me, but the law does not, so faith without or with works has a cleaving point.

Questions about abortion are, how did Obama say it, above his pay grade.

I don't know if he thinks he makes enough money to answer death penalty questions or not...

How did she dig her own grave? The people who dont like her say her interview was bad. In fact, there is probably nothing she could say to make you think the interview was good. Your mind was made up before the interview started.

You think people in Ohio give a damn about the bridge to nowhere and who lied first about it? Most people have no idea what it is. Attacking her religion will get you nowhere because Obama has even bigger problems in that department. You want McCain's 527 groups to bring up Rev Wright's anti-American quotes again?

And none of this junk you are finding is going to take voters away from the conservatives. I've not seen conservatives this fired up since Reagan.

Here is something to read to show you how in trouble the Democrats really are....It aint over....but it's getting close.

There is pork thrown into every bill package. Alaska has been well *known* for being the biggest pork planters. Sadly in congress it is sometimes between passing a bill with tons of benifits for Americans, and our troops.. and dealing with the pork.. or tossing the baby out with the bath water.. and having people wonder why in the hell did you not vote yes for the main issue ( like oh say.. more support and benifits for the troops.) Given those choices.. a lot of pork goes through.

Blame the ass hats that put the pork in first. not the people who had to chew on it to help the rest of us.
