I never realized how much fun it is playing in the garden!
Tie your slave to the fence and make him a human scare crow. Throw the rotten tomatoes at him that he didn't pick before the frost. Cut a sunflower, trim the leaves off and cane him with that wonderful strong stem. And not gonna mention what to do with the carrots and cucumbers!

Nettles are past season here but burdock is plentiful. Girls, shall we have him stick his own burdock to his pubic hair while I have him rip out the tomato plants and do the laundry?

I mean, I am really pissed about my tomatoes. I told him frost was coming, go out and pick the tomatoes, they will ripen in the house. And he didn't listen. he covered the plants with sheets. really, I took so much pride in my tomatoes. I HAD over 30 plants. I process them and make my own sauces.  Now I have rotten toms and a pile of dirty sheets! And least not mention, a disobedient scare crow with a cucumber sticking out of his mouth. sheesh, I wonder what the mail lady thought. he was still tied out in the garden when she went through! I hope he's not the talk of the town for the next week. Oh well.

That's awesome ! If he is the talk of the town either he will  take care of what you ask of him or he shall screw up intentionally to get more garden time as he too  loved it . this really needs to be on DVD !

I hope he's learned his lesson before it's pumpkin harvest time!

lol, that's funny. I didn't grow pumpkins this year though. I am impressed with the sunflower stalk as an excellent canning device. I used one of the smaller, thinner, sunflowers. It's nice! Kinda scratchy, holds up to repeated impact, light weight, nice and straight. I'm hooked!
