As has been said, a lot of great/good advice here, so I'll just reinforce something that's already been said... "...panic = clenching = over / pain..."

Being aroused and WANTING/NEEDING the penetration is key... If she's anxious about the possibility of pain, her sphincter muscle will clench up, and that's where the pain will occur. To minimize the possibility of that, the person RECEIVING the penetration should be the agressor. She should dictate the rate and amount that she's comfortable with until she (naturally) relaxes... Thank you, Thank you Thank you all!!! There was some very good advice here and a lot of stuff that I would never have thought of. I would highly reccomend loosening up first. Judging by your posts, your husband may want to be the first thing in there, but if he's fine with it, start off with a finger, then two, then three. Getting a smaller butt-plug to loosen you up would be a great idea; I'd suggest one of the 1 in wide ones; keep it in for a few minutes before he penetrates you.
