Ok... I read through 5 pages of responses and thought they were really on target to the OP except I cannot believe NO ONE caught this statement. I always believed goats and sheep to be ANIMATE objects..I mean come on dude..

Well, I was assuming that the s-types were only going to swallow sheep and goats and have their systems process them AFTER they were dead. So. . . at that point, they WOULD be inanimate.
Wow. If there are D-types out there making s-types swallow LIVE sheep and goats, NO WONDER this guys panties are in a twist.
You have to slowly work your way up. Don't start out swallowing a goat. Try something smaller first, like a fly, then move up to spider, and then maybe a bird. If you can manage all these you might try a small mammal, like a cat, and then maybe a dog.
If you can manage to get a dog all the way in, you're probably ready for the goat. If that goes well you may even try swallowing a cow.
Do not, however, attempt to swallow a horse. That would probably kill you.
