Actually , I think the OP has a valid point.

One sub of my acquaintance was made to eat plutonium.

Since then, her life has been turned upside down. Instead of having a normal D/S relationship, she feels obliged to use her powers to fight for truth and justice.

Well, so far we only have data on the effects of horse swallowing on old ladies, thus the results are inconclusive. Until we have a more thorough study with better controls, it's probably best to refrain from this practice.
