Well, my two cents before your thread gets yanked (due to the subject)... almost everyone I know that has a "unique" name or one that is spelled in a unique manner, hates it. My own sister gave her kid a unique spelling due to pressure from her husband, and has regretted it ever since. For example's sake, we'll say she wanted to name her kid "Jeremy", but her husband wanted "Geramy". Everyone spells it wrong (well, they spell it "right" but it's "wrong" for him), teachers spell it wrong, friends, everyone. And she could never buy him something "personal" off the rack at a store, because his spelling is unique. And then for the people that see it in print first, they always pronounce it wrong. The poor kid can't win. Cali
