The problem with inserting it is that if it does burn the membranes, there isn't any way to wash it off and prevent damage. Outside, you can wash it. Once it's been inserted all you can do is hope she heals without scarring.

I remember smearing that stuff into my teammates' jockstraps just before football practice, back in high school. And the cries of pain which the rest of us heard afterward. ...Hmmm... probably not the best choice for lube. I mean, it's funny and all at first, but you run the risk of some serious damage.

Yes, it could cause interesting sensations, no doubt about it, but, it's also a health hazard when inserting it. A major one, burning and damaging the membranes. They're unprotected to begin with, no skin or whatever to cover them, and you're introducing chemical burns to them. Not safe. Also, it is oil based, so, you will have to be careful with rubber or latex toys, condoms, and other such things, as that will break down the rubber (just like not using any oil based lubricant with condoms, such as vaseline/petrolium jelly). As long as you keep those things in mind, if you still want to use it, I don't think anyone here will really be able to stop you. I'd just advise against it. There are other alternatives, such as many water based lubricants that have a warming gel in them and are rubber/latex safe, not to mention nowhere near as harsh. I.D. makes one, I'm pretty sure Wet does, and the kama-sutra line of flavoured massage liquid are pretty darn good too.

I've never used icy hot, but have used Ben Gay as a lube for my butt plug, loved it, but was warned on the boards here not to do that because too much aspirin in it can be absorbed, so now i just use a dab.[:)]
