Status: offline 		I have never heard anywhere but here, that the ass of a State Trooper was ever drunk driving on duty. Of course ,thank God there would have to be proof of such thing or most of us would have a record!....He admitted to shooting a moose and the tasering of his step-son but not to drinking on the job.
Should have just tasered the moose and there wouldn't be an issue? I wouldn't imagine too many PETA members surviving in Alaska.....

How often was Obama going into interviews with the media when he decided to run?  He avoided all of the major shows for quite awhile.  However to be more specific, Palin is being made more available to the media, and will be fielding questions today here in Michigan.


As to the thread topic, a few lawsuits were filed by various groups in Alaska.

On a related subject, does anyone other than me ever wonder why Obama barred the press from his recent big Hollywood fundraiser?

Could it be because he was making fun of average Americans again?

She has not been under the natioanl press gun for 3 weeks and today McCain annouced she will only speak through his people.  No more about anything concerning Troopergate, no more about the bridge, about anything. 

Only what they release, if she is soooooooooo  great and has nothing to hide why is she. 

ohhhh she will be on FOX, yea that's fair and balanced, did you see the piece about McCain and his people being pissed at MSNBC because they showed Obama in a good way.  So they went with ABC, if she has nothing to hide, why not answer questions from the press at large?

Slow down for a minute.  I am pointing out that she has just come on the scene, that she is becoming more and more available to the press and the public.  When Obama announced he avoided the questions of the media like the plague as well, he prefered to use his inspirational messages to get the attention.

I am not sure where the MSNBC part comes in to this discussion.  I haven't suggested that she is great or any other sort of adjective.  More to the point there is a huge difference between being on the top of a ticket and being second on it.

Of course. Palin's experience justifies everything so lets just ignore it. That'll solve everything.

The experience argument is crap. It is hypocritical to point out Obamas inexperience when she only has 18 months under her belt as governor in comparison to Bidens decades of service. Seems much better to just leave him out of the picture doesnt it when you look at VP vs VP. You are better off arguing McCain vs Obama.

On topic - I think she's making excuses. If everything was fine and clean she wouldnt be going out of her way to avoid it.

Well, yeah... It's OBVIOUS, but apparently Sarah Palin didn't have any evidence of any Unlawful Acts, so she tried to circumvent the public service laws, and the union contract and had a little temper tantrum when she didn't get her way.

Shows how mentally unbalanced she really is. I wonder if, given the strange behaviour regarding her handicapped child, there isn't a Domestic Violence issue lurking under the radar...

How do Evangelicals feel about beating a disobedient woman?

Actually it was the Obama campaign and the left who started the bellyaching about Governor Palin's experience before they realized she had more and better leadership experience than Obama...

And the more they vilify her and attack her over fake emails or the fact that she's a mother, in fact the more mud of any kind that's slung her way by the Democrats, the more she stays in the spotlight which only serves to remind people that there's a question as to whether or not she's more qualified to be President than Obama.

So keep up those Palin attacks. Don't forget about troopergate. Keep posting those SNL skits... in fact, do your worst!

Apparently McCain has dispatched a top Justice Department lawyer,who weeks ago was prosecuting terrorists,to Alaska to head a team of McCain lawyers to try to kill this thing.

A couple weeks ago this was no big deal and she`d cooperate.

Today,we have high powered GOP lawyers trying to quash the investigation and an example of how they`d govern.
