Ironically enough, my boy is the same way. When I first saw is room in KS I was horrified. I had been warned. But…it just wasn’t enough. Mind you, the photos I had seen of him were all of him in Iraq and he had already informed me many times over that he was an awful slob. Once he moved in (proving, once and for all, I am beyond brave) he mantra was that while he was not personally a fan of cleaning, he would rather spend hours doing it than to have me do one dish. Sometimes I have to explain to his quivering face that I LIKE cleaning/cooking/ etc every now and then. Truth be told, he cleans like someone who his not sure how do to it (it took HOW long to clean the bathroom? It’s the size of a closet!)but he is getting better. Still…this is about selling yourself…and with so much competition , why hope that the Dom/me you are writing is going to be as forgiving as I (once) was?
