I thought the democrats were supposed to be the crying pansies... the attack wasn't politically motivated and anonymous isn't "left-wing" nor a "group."

Haha- I love anonymous. While not particularly politically correct, the protests are hilarious. One of the scientology protests was particuarly entertaining- with cake, Vendetta masks, and confused onlookers. For more info on them, check out Encyclopedia Dramatica. It's less of an organized group, than an internet idea that goes around ruffling feathers for the laughs.

are people blaming "liberals" over this now? I find it hilarious that the acts of hackers, the same hackers who hacked an epilepsy forum so that it would flash lights at readers and induce seizures in its userbase, are being labeled as "liberals" more likely, sarah palin probably had some kind of stupid password that was easy to crack like "hockeymom07" SINCE SHE USED HER OWN PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESS INSTEAD OF SOMETHING ACTUALLY SECURE.

Anon has some nasty hackers- they've done stuff like this before. I really, really doubt they did it for political reasons. Here is a pretty good summary of their motivations. The actions taken by Anonymous, other than those taken during a "raid", do not seem to follow any specific agenda; members often simply take action for amusement. This is known within sites affiliated with Anonymous as "doing it for the lulz
