I go to a fabulous girl at the mall and pay about $50 with the tip. I have dyed my own hair since I was 15. I have never trusted anyone to dye my hair other then me. All my friends in the past would come over for Girls night In parties where we dyed our hair.. Ok.. I dyed everyones hair.. and we sat around watching movies, and eating junk food. I miss that part. Gwyn, if i'm ever in florida, let's have a hair dying/ junk food eating sleep over. and get all the other girls in on it too...now that would be a serious night for some giggling!

I have a huge amount of hair, but when I was younger I had a great family friend relationship with my hairdresser. I would babysit/tutor her daughter and we lived only a few houses down from each other, and she was one of my mother's closest friends. She would only charge me $20 for the materials to dye my hair and nothing for the work that it took to put the color in or cut it (and with my hair, this would be about 2.5 hours of work). She moved to Seattle 4 years ago and I haven't found a hair dresser that I like since. I cut my own hair and dye it at home now. The most I ever spent once was $200 to have all of my hair braided, but it hurt my scalp so I didn't do it again.

Dunno how much. Haven't done an analysis. What price would you put on dampening a washcloth and the resultant wear-and-tear of same? 6

When I had a very short haircut, I paid $45 each week. I decided I didn't want to waste my Saturdays at the hairdresser so I've started growing my hair out. I'm currently visiting the salon every 2-3 weeks and pay approximately $50.00. Every 8-10 weeks I have the major overhaul: Relaxer, color, deep condition and ends trimmed: $110 including tip. Toss in another $50.00 per month for nail care and eyebrow wax. You men have it made....buzz cut, razors...phsaw!!

Dont even get me started on the nails, pedi's and waxing! When I was in Naples my 2 week maintance not including my hair was about $100. That is just my nails, Pedi, and eyebrow wax. Now I just get the eyebrow wax when I star looking like a Klingon.. Damn I need one bad. Gwyn

Klingons are cute! i can't take getting my eyebrows done, it hurts too much and they look the same as they did before, definitely not worth the pain for me.

I had real long hair in the 80's & early 90's (metal hair band hair). Then the better my job got the shorter my hair got. I even had a crew cut for a while. Now that I'm in the music business I haven't gotten a hair cut for about one year. I do go for some color & to get the dead ends cut off. It costs around $30.00
