mmmmmmm...

geeky doms are amazing o.o

I'll say, He was the best dom I've ever served. A total nerd, but smoking hot and elegant to boot when he needed to be. First night I submitted to Him he was in an Armani suit with a very useful leather belt [;)]

Between that and the nerdiness, I was hopelessly lost.

Master is not a God but he is the perfect man for me.  Something he does is that he seems to have a song for every occasion and will sing a few bars of it.
One thing he does that drives me crazy is that most of the time he is right about things.  I said to him don't you hate always being right?  He said no why would i be.  But i love him and he loves me so it is all good.

I gotta agree with DnD on this one.  Mine sees me as "both".  If you were to ask her this question straight out, she'd laugh and say "Of course he's just a guy."  But then if you were to listen to her talk about me, I part water for breakfast and the heavens move at my command.

He snores. And not light, you can ignore it snores, but LOUD, make even the cat run out of the room snoring. He has His own sense of style when it comes to dressing- usually a Tshirt with an inappropriate saying on it that almost makes me cringe from time to time. He hates anything with mushrooms on it and drinks pop like it's water- I'm the exact opposite on both. He takes REALLY long naps and is more forgetful than even I am, and I didn't think that was humanly possible. Even the annoying things I find endearing but they do expose His humanity occassionally.

I wanted to add something about my husband/ Master, he became a God in my eyes when he unconditionally accepted my son as his son.  My son's father passed away 9yrs ago when he was 16.  It was extremely hard on him growing up without his father.
Master loved him unconditionally from the moment he met me because he was my son. They are now best friends and talk to each other weekly.  His love for my child  and desire to be someone important in both our lives gives him Godly status in my eyes and is something I will always be grateful for.

After a long day in Family Court, I needed to read this.  Thank you.

I'm not allowed to worship him. I was so dazzled in the beginning that he put an end to that real quick. He knows he is fallible and has feet of clay. It was/is important to him that I see the reality of him.

The title of the thread pulled Me.

I am no man, nor am I a God.  As I often say, if I were God, I would control the wind.  Of course, I don't.

I am but a person.  A human and a frail one at that.  One who is prone to illness, has human faults, and is definitely mortal.  My eyes see this.  Sometimes, they even cry.

Perhaps, it is accepting this that makes a better Dominant.

This makes you all the more lovable![sm=hearts.gif]

Thank you very much.

SleeplessGypsy -> RE: Men or Gods (9/25/2008 4:08:41 PM)

Oh lot's of things.. Mainly his laugh. Mostly his smell. He has an intoxicating scent.

When he plays with his Monster Truck racing it up and down the street, you'd think it was Chrismas morning with all the fun he's having.

When he farts in bed, half asleep and blames it on the Dog.. UM, We don't have a Dog!

When he comes home after a long day all sweaty and tired and tells me how good it is to see me. Then asks what's for Dinner.

I'm enjoying this thread. Thanks Mad Rabbit!

kyraofMists -> RE: Men or Gods (9/25/2008 5:46:53 PM)

This post requires a bit of context...

I had read this post last night before anyone had responded to it and just after I finished reading it, he called and when I answered he said "Guess what I am doing." and I just had to laugh because it was the perfect answer to this post.

Needless to say he had just gotten in to his hotel and was taking a shit.  It is one of his favorite ways to squick me out.  Now if he carries it too far, it squicks him out as well.  I can't even remember how it started, but my reaction was such that the sadist's interest were perked.  He has tormented me with this for a couple years now.  The only problem is that he can't do it too often because then he will have to up the ante to get the same reaction... the problem with that is it would squick him.

So, he is defintely a man, but he loves to make me cry out to God  *g*

I agree this thread has been incredibly entertaining!!!  Clues that he is indeed, just a regular guy:

Daddy cannot dance worth a damn, but he does it anyway, I call it the Happy Cracker Dance.  Our little man does the same dance.

He can go on and on about the online gaming, making the very air a little bit geekier with every statement about gold, ingots, and guilds.  And I listen, absolutely enchanted, even though I am SO not a gamer.

One time a cicada dive-bombed him (left a big red welt too!) and started making that awful noise, and he hollered right back at it.

He gives my 7 year old piggy-back rides, and they lose their balance and bang into walls and furniture.

If you were to ask my dog what she thought, she would undoubtedly answer that of course, he's a god!

If you asked small children, animals, and harmless insects the same question, they would agree with my dog.

QandA -> RE: Men or Gods (9/25/2008 8:07:58 PM)

Q steals the covers... but only when we're in my bed, not when we're in his bed.  He sees no use in fiction... he'd much rather read non-fiction and news, whereas I'm an avid reader unless it's non-fiction.

He apologizes when he's wrong or when he hurts me.

He lovingly strokes my face as I sit as his feet.  He holds me close to him when I cry.

He's a man.  He's a wonderful man.  [sm=hearts.gif]

Do gods wear plaid kilts and tropical print hawaiian shirts together?  [8|]

Do they try to stick raisinettes up your nose at the movie theater?  [>:]

Do they wear red plaid jammies and giant Godzilla feet slippers while they beat you?  [&:]

I'm sure these are age old questions asked by many a woman who wasn't sure if she was involved with a man or a god. [;)]

darchChylde -> RE: Men or Gods (9/25/2008 10:55:22 PM)

Ok, Ma'am is indisputably human.  I could go into detail about the things that make me just want to grab Her, shake Her until She's paying close attention and then quietly tell Her how much of a dork She is.  But i'm not going to do it, not because i think She'd be angry or because i don't think it's a very submissive thing to do; but because She has far more embarassing ammo on me.

rubberpet -> RE: Men or Gods (9/26/2008 9:23:04 AM)

I'm with you on that, darch.  In one way, I worship Mistress as a goddess, but she is certainly human.  No matter what silly, goofy, or braindead things she may do to demonstrate her "human-ness", she is and will always be the one I will happily bow down to and worship as the goddess she is. :-)  There are times that I just want to pull her aside and smack her back to reality, but I dare not because she has a knife collection and I have to fall asleep sometime! [&:]  Nah, I'm just kidding...Mistress wouldn't wait till I fell asleep...she'd do it right then and there! [;)]

Besides, I've done my fair share of moronic behavior and we don't need to air out dirty laundry here.  LMAO [:D]

A great suggestion for a god's birthday present!

kiwisub12 -> RE: Men or Gods (9/26/2008 6:50:27 PM)

He must be a god - because everytime i hurt myself and yell "God!" - he says "yes?"

He is definitely a man because ( as i saw on a t-shirt) it might not be my fault, but he is going to blame me.   for anything - rain, the price of gas, what the birds did (lol) - and then pinch me on a nipple! [:D]

He must be a god because he makes me so happy just by being there when i get home.
