So you get as far as IM.. then within 2 minutes you're told .. "you must not speak to/meet with/play with any other Domly type person but ME". Err excuse me? Do I know you? NO! Does getting me into msn mean you think you own me? Well sorry buster but it means diddly.. only that i think you might be worth talking to.. but, that sort of behaviour just makes me laugh (usually) or scream (in the heat).

Aarrgh... no wonder there's a shortage of subs in the UK (allegedly/apparently) if that's the *quality* of Domly types!

Not sure where the lack of subs thing comes from... perhaps i should say the LordDomlyofDomly types can't find anyone stupid enough to submit to them and that can only be a good thing.. *laughs*...

To the issue of this topic though, I would venture to gather that a good 75% of the people online in chats, groups, forums, etc are essentially trying to live a life they cannot live as such in reality. Whether it be they aren't the sex they wish they were, or they are inhibited by their lover/wife/husband/etc, or they just don't have the real fortitude to either submit or control in their own lives. Thus the annonymity of the online world gives those people this blanketed hope and release for their sexual tensions...while in the process alienating and aggrivating those of us who actual live out our desires and would prefer to do so without their hinderance.

It's the same on both sides of the fence though, from MasterSirMaster comes SlaveCuntWench4Evr69 who tells you how she wants to serve you for eternity and loves you undying after saying "Hi, my name is xxxx, nice to meet you"

I don't think there's a shortage of them in general, but when you have standards you're fishing from a very select pool.

well Starshine, it is everywhere! they have surrounded us and the real doms have been replaced with pod people! Seriously it is sooo true. I mean i dont think these people have a clue. this one person wants to see if i could be his 24/7 slave he doesnt live anywhere near me, does he think i am going to get up and move???? And when you talk to this type you can tell how they think when you dont answer a question directly. See if they notice, of course the ultra serious ones might dimiss you right there for not responding properly. lol sometimes it makes me laugh people at work think i am insane, tears in my eyes reading some of the stuff people send me.

Ah well everyone needs a laugh now and again. But seriously you take what you are learning and can determine when there is someone worth talking to or not.

i have never been could not talk with somebody else but do agree they think you are suppose to listen to them. one yelled i would be his slave after saying several times i could not be one and would not in that same im. another one said to do something which i would not do and closed it and wrote him here saying dont do that. he said i must not be as submissive as i think i am. this coming from one just stated talking to and not met yet. just a few examples of ones not knowing thinking i have to listen to them. never met any and will not who think i have to do anything and everything i am told.

i had to laugh when i read your post because last night while at a party, i commented on how there seemed to be an unusual amount of triads, quads, etc families there. One Domly type person with several subs. At least in my local scene there seems to be a shortage of Domly types.

I haven't had that happen over the net but in RL I did.

This Big bear daddy (Hotter than Hot!) came up to me at Folsom st East a few years ago and I said I liked his boots. He asked me if I wanted to clean them for him and I being a novice to that sort of play but wanting to try everything said yes.
Well we went to the NYC Eagle where he sat on a shoe shine seat and I went to work on his boots. He must have liked it because half way through it he decided I was leaving my Husband and moving in with him that day.
Needless to say after telling him a few times it would not be happening I had to punch him in the nuts to get him to let go of me. I bolted and he followed me. I got to John and my friends and that was that. Talk about a pushy a$$hole!
