Next time I get the bright idea to make something out of rabbit fur, instead of paying three times as much to buy it ready-made, just shoot me.

My dining room looks like a bunch of little white rabbits exploded, my vacuum cleaner has been emptied twice of rabbit fur, and I'm not happy with the end result. 

JUST... FARKIN'... SHOOT... MEEEEEEEE.

Not a kit, just a couple of pelts.  The feet and whatnot are trimmed off, and they are tanned already.  The problem is my sewing machine isn't up to the task, and I was trying to force it to be up to the task.  And no, I didn't really want to do it by hand, LOL.

I am sorry to hear your dining room looks like a Grace Slick nightmare.  It seems a worthy undertaking though.  Do we get to see a pic of the glove when you fishing your creation?

Holy crap they are charging how much for that? Fuuuuuck I used to sell mine for $20 a pop to the local kink store.

I still have one.. it is soooo niiiice.

Bunny fur is tempermental.. You will find bunny fluffs behind your couch and fridge for months if you are not careful with it.

The secret is finding which way the fur is growing. And cut with it. Also Waxed Sinew is your friend for sewing.

I even have a deer skin cloak trimmed in bunny foo foo that I made. It made a group of PETA jack asses get all nasty with me.. LOL

Only a shop vac will be able to handle the shear amount of fluff you prob have.

PS and yes.. yes you have to hand sew the darn thing! Trust me it is much easier... I could bang out one from pelt to finished in 20-30 mins. But I am Gods Fastest at hand sewing.

Gwyn... I'm about to trash the whole thing and call it a day.  I spent less than $10 for everything.  They were selling for $25 at the last event I went to, and I thought that was too much.  Yeah, I'm cheap, I know.  I've been looking online and the quality and price varies widely.

I thought I did everything right... cut from the back with the direction of the fur, used a fine leather needle... the bundle was just too thick for my cheezy sewing machine I think.  And to get my old Singer workhorse in shape again is about $150 or so, so that's out for now.

And you know, there's that whole sleep deprivation thing I got going, didn't help.

So... any packages coming my way that I can send you some dinero for???  [sm=flash.gif]
