How about the situations when you go out briefly, say a few weeks with someone, and then they start introducing you as their fiance and telling their family about the upcoming wedding.  And they have never asked you about marriage plans at all?

I hear ya,

I had a friend who used to have entire relationships in his mind ... where the young lady(s) would be totally unaware of it.

Whoa!  Lynnxz, was he sober at the time?  Could he even remember his own name?

Great new photo, btw.

Would the time I met a lady for drinks, she then said she would like to go to a titty bar, came back to my place for some friendly grope and tickle, after which she informed me she was a lesbian count?

God help me, I thought, "What the hell is a lesbian count?  If she was a lesbian, wouldn't that make her a countess?"  I had to read it three times before I "got it".  LOL.

Lynx, you better tell her that you love her, because I don't think she can live like this!

A buddy of mine once told me about a woman he took out - they went to a movie (never a good plan for a first date) ... but when he held the door open to the movie theater open for her, she practically shouted 'YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER!'

He told me that the date had gone down hill from there.

I reckon if I think on it hard enough - I'll pull from my memory a date in which I was out with a lesbian count.

*sigh*

C-L, you know we're laughing with you, right?  If anyone is still wondering, it says:

Would this count: the time I met a lady for drinks, she then said she would like to go to a titty bar, came back to my place for some friendly grope and tickle, after which she informed me she was a lesbian count.

Sometimes vanilla dating is stranger than the BDSM crowd.

Okay, I ONCE went on a 'date' with a young lady (vanilla, mind you) who told me ... that even though she KNEW it was irrational ... she had an irrational fear that she had prostate cancer.

I think you should have told the young lady that it's quite a coincidence because you have always had the irrational fear that you have cervical cancer. Maybe she just needed someone she could relate to. *g*

Mine isn't as bad as some of these, but I did meet this really great guy at Starbucks, had a wonderful conversation with him. He asked me out to dinner. We went out to my favorite restaurant about a week later and on the way home from dinner he casually mentions, "I did tell you I am married, right?" "Uh, no. But thanks for dinner."

Quite a few years ago I was asked out on a date by a guy I worked with.  It was a party being thrown by some single male friends of his.  On the night I did the full 'dressed to kill' bit and went to this party.

As we got to the door of this house, he said 'by the way, you have to pretend you're my sister.  If my friends think I'm not single any more, they won't hang out with me'.

wtf???!!  This guy was 30 years old!

So being the kind of vindictive bitch that I am, I agreed and then spent the rest of the evening grabbing his ass and planting big, non-sisterly kisses on him.  Dunno what his friends thought.....

I once arranged to meet a girl outside a cinema.
Arrived on time, stood there for a while as curtain up time approached, thought to myself
'balls to this I'll see the film anyway'.
Found her inside and she said
'Why weren't you 20 minutes early, that's polite' then gave me her ticket stub so I could give her the money and added
'I've also had 2 cokes'

WTF?

Wouldn't these 'close friends' of his knew whether or not he had a sister and maybe what her name was???

Was relating 'war stories' last night and a friend of mine told me that she had gone out on a few casual dates with a guy, was sitting in his basement/TV room watching a movie on the couch with him.  He casually turns to her and says something to the effect of "I wonder, if you chole a woman, just how long it would take her to die"

Remember, this is a VANILLA setting with no previous discussion, or context for any sort of kinky play.

Pretty scary!
