If the cat desides she wants to be petted, she determines when and where. Although this routine of me having to kneel on the floor to pet her at arm's length is getting old real fast.

Just to report that as usual, my lunchtime cheese on toast has just been eaten by the lords and ladies who permit me to dwell in their den in return for my hunting prowess down at Tesco.

As soon as lunchtime comes, Pepper tells me its time for cheese on toast and encourages me to the kitchen. Once making said meal, she eats bits of cheese I have to give her as otherwise she'd take the block and run with it. Meanwhile the sound of the grill brings the rest of the gang from their slumbers and they all proceed to my work station where they know I shall be bringing said gastronomic delight - minus HP sauce of course, since cats dont like it.

Once made I sit surrounded by five feline faces watching me intently and gradually drawing nearer, willing excess melted cheese to run off onto the plate below. Its got to the stage where I squeeze the sandwich to make this happen for them.

They then descend en mass on the plate, eating every bit of run off and licking the plate clean, before asking if there's any more?

On the positive side, this saves on both washing up and on me gaining weight despite my dairy based lunchtime meal habits.

OK How the HELL did I end up the odd woman out...My cat begs for my attention which I will give her once in a while when I feel like it.while she will beg me to check her food bowl, she will not eat until I have had my fill ( I stir it by hand and says OK you can have some now). She never hooks into my plate and grabs food, gets up on the counter or the table, investigates food that is not in her bowl or hogs the bed ( she is not allowed on it and will run if she is caught on it). She goes out when I tell her to and comes in when I call. Yes she is a cat, is small, black with a couple of tags of white and a white splotch on her belly) was with her mother until weaned and is a rescue from a neighbors midnight move.

The dogs obey me to the point I am able to call Komodo out of a fight making him drop the pitbull on command.

Seems the only owner I have is Blackphx.. as the animals look to me as alpha and momma ( he's gone too much on the road)
