D/s, full collars, submissives and dominants... all stupid shit that someone somewhere sometime made up... I have about as much attachment to the collar as a symbol as I do wearing a letterman's jacket or a promise ring... sweet and kinda romantic in a squishy sort of way... but a collar does not mean as much as a wedding ring to me. I know that others attach deep importance to it, but it is just some stupid shit that someone made up to me. I am not saying I will never accept a collar, but it does not mean to me what it seems to mean to many on here.

It is amusing to me that some will shit on other people's important symbols whilst venerating their own.

i have seen collars ot leather and steels.. collars of diamonds and collars of lace.. necklaces and rings that symbolize a deep commitment

to me, alot of what is considered mainstream, or, acceptable BDSM is made up!  Daddy Doms,, switches, baby girls, toilet slaves

ummm.. pst.. guess what... even a wedding ring is a made up symbol

SOMEONE made up all this .. to represent how they feel towards someone else

when i am owned... committed, deep in my heart belonging to someone else... i dont need anything beyond their smile.. their touch.. their voice.  i dont need to call them "Master", "Daddy" or "Sir"... they dont need to lable me as anything.

symbols are nice
feelings/emotions are better

Status: offline 		well ...all sort of answers for that collar ....but i do not know it ....never heard about .... training , consideration submissive and slave .....maybe that stupid cyber one ...and that's it....now , i wonder if your dom knows about the fonctions of all of them ....each one have a significance and each one is a gift,given or received......so ,protection of what ....never see that one or maybe in sin city ....

Status: offline 		I must say, well said Tazzygirl!  I do not need a collar, or a ring, or any other symbol to know how Daddy feels for me, and I for him.  Although, I do enjoy the looks when I wear the collar but no leash and people at the bar ask him, hey where is her leash? And he says "I don't need a leash she stays right here".  Yum. 

A collar of protection...does it come with DomStar?  So if subbie is lost they are promptly shut down and the call center reps notify the Dom on the account?  Does it erect a forcefield around said sub? (that would be soooo cool!) Do evildoers see it and think "oh no, a collar of protection! Run! Flee!"  I don't understand it.  However, if this works for both parties in question, I am not one to judge.  More power to 'em.  If someone slapped one on me, though, I would demand that it has a great big S that blinks.  So the evildoers know not to mess with me.
