Well yes, they also make airplane engines, compact florescent light bulbs and railroad locomotives. I don't think they make nuclear bombs, but who every makes those Meals Ready to Eat for the military, is truly a war-driving enterprise. Frankly, if we didn't insist on driving and flying every dang where, our politicos wouldn't see a need to go to war to protect the oil to get our votes. If you don't see it clearly now, we went to war to get a foothold to protect the oil that keeps us financially afloat. We, not the government, need to rein in our energy use and invest in solar panels. Though, it is far more costly than you might expect. Personally, the solar system that cools my small home for 5 hours a day in the summer cost $40,000, though it will pay for itself in 18.7 years, that is a lot of cash to tie up.
