    So, in the middle of watching my favorite internet BDSM show, BaadMaster's Dungeon, my phone rings... anoying yes, but this is life... So on the other lie is one of my good friends wanting to go out... and we did... well on the show, the host (BaadMaster) was like, guys you can find out if a girl at a bar is even semikinky by asking her, whats your fetish? ... so I thought it would be fun to ask this really simple question and put a female spin on it.
  Now, I'm not a beauty..lol.. my friends are, and I'm usually that one fat girl with the hot friends... such is life (and I just so happen to be a proud fat kid, but I digress.) anywho, so after asking a couple of guys, and getting an "I don't have any" or "whats a fetish?" I somehow struck gold...lol, it just happened to be in a guy who was intensely interested inmy bestfriend, who freaks out if shes NOT "in control"...lol..
BUT that got me thinking, and now at appropriate times, or if I'm bored (like now...) to ask,  Whats your fetish? What would you admit to liking? how far would you answer that question to a stranger?

If a stranger asked me that? I'd raise my eyebrows and move on. Sounds like a bad line.

Caveat, girls can get away with cheesy lines, guys can't.

To a stranger, I'd probably admit to D/s if they were asking sincerely.  To someone I got to know online for a while or in person, I'd talk more openly about my sex life and other private aspects.  To someone I was good friends with and had known for some time, I would hope to be able to tell everything about myself.  I want to surround myself with people who accept me the way I am.  It's very freeing and rewarding to have someone you can tell your deepest nastiest secret to.

If the stranger is hot and if i felt comfortable i would prolly answer. i try very hard to not present my desires in a matter of fact way. i consider it a duty to the community to demystify and humanize the face of wiitwd in hopes that some learning could take place. Despite the polarizing opinions about mainstreaming or begging for acceptance of this thing we enjoy...i want to do my part to at least put a face to it...i do the same thing with the lesbian aspect of my life...i try to correct misconceptions in the straight world about homosexuality if i see an opportunity to do so. Same with this.

i usually admit to liking spankings because its a good common lead-in....i was getting spanked wayyy before i ever considered myself to be truly kinky. So its something the vanilla folks can identify with.

i've said this in other threads before, but, will post it here also..

i have several fetishes.. but one of my "stranger" ones would be..

i’m the opposite  :)  if a Man has the gumption to ask me a bold question early in a conversation, like “what’s your fetish?” not sound dorky, and of course assuming i have some kind of interest in Him physically, it’s a go for me!

my answer would most likely be “stranger sex with some pain around the edges.”  i totally love having sex with strangers.  and if He’s someone I’d actually have “stranger sex” with, and He’s not turned off by the “pain around the edges part,” then i’d most likely do Him.

It's been a while since I've been out to a bar lol - and I do wear my collar publically when I go out, so to a stranger probably wouldn't be any different than anyone I knew - however I think it'd also have to be "control" - or rather the lack thereof [:D]

IF the question was asked sincerely and IF the person's knowing represented no danger to me or my loved ones, I would answer that I enjoy being bundled up snugly and decoratively and then suspended from a tree branch on a semi-cloudy afternoon.

brutalizing a woman to the point to where rape would seem too polite a term...though I feel I'd need to elaborate that this is just one manifestation of a desire to completely possess and mold a woman into what I think is perfection.

If a stranger asked me that question, I would probably respond, "well, that depends...what's in your toy bag?"  And if his response showed that he really did HAVE a kinky toy bag, then I would be truthful.   If he stammered his way through, "uhhh, a whip and some ch-ch-ch-chains?" with a trembly voice I would probably then say, "had an EKG lately?  cuz you look like the type that would have a heart attack dealing with my fetishes."
