Besides a foggy image of people who would pay services (i am not quite sure who'd desire it near such amount of free male subs) they could certainly be needed for BDSM movies, as actors. Still, they would have to be something extraordinary, since the concurrence of willing volunteers is huge.

Status: offline 		You'd have to look pretty damn amazing to be paid well for male bdsm flicks. I know for kink, you have to be local, travel expenses aren't paid, and they don't get near as much as the girls do... hence the large number of sub par male bodys messing up the porn. 

Hey... I'm allowed to be shallow when I watch porn. tyvm.

Actually, my boy is used for BDSM porn film; he does it for free, as a service for me (he is in films for friends.  Admittedly, the other sub used for these films does not quite have as decent a body, he does it also as a direct service to the Mistress filming, money just never crossed any of their mind and I have him film so that he can help her make money.
When I was working as a ProDomme, also in NYC, the market for female submissive was decent, but they were also VERY picky about who they would accept as I client for that type of scene.  The market for male ProSubs? Well, a few guys would call looking for that and/or to offer their (free) services as a Dom.  So, personally, no, I don’t see much demand for it and other than a small one among the gay community.  The issue there was the service offered were always sexual (anal, sex between two men, cock sucking) and therefore NOT something we would do and also, yes, veer into the realm of pay-for-sex; none that I recall were looking for male-on-male bondage etc.

If you are looking to be of service and make a living at it, then go out and LEARN how to be of service.  There are training institutes that will teach you how to be a professional butler, estate manager, house manager, etc.  If you really want to get off on just service, that should do it, and you will be paid well. 

Now if you want to get off on service AND sex, that's another matter.  I'm pretty sure you will have a harder time finding a job in one of those areas where "servicing" the lady of the house is a perk.

I've always thought its odd that, in the US, it's legal to have sex for money if all the proper paperwork is there to make it a porno.... but it's not legal if it's not a porn.

Ok. Sorry. Back to the op.

If you are specificallly looking to be tied up and spanked for the money, I don't think you'll get too much business. If you just wish to serve, I'd second Cali's idea of becoming a butler or something more along those lines.

Female dominants can make a living at this. Gay male tops can make a living at this. I've never heard of gay male pro bottoms. But as I said, there are female pro bottoms.

Men are always more aggressively seeking women, whether they are tops or bottoms. Which means you aren't going to make a living marketing your services to females.

Status: offline 		That is my take on it too.  I know a female pro switch who does pretty good in a metro area serves both as a top or a bottom.  There are male bottoms as well however they should be prepared to be played with my male tops.
There are so many male bottoms around waiting, begging, and whining about getting some use that the female tops are always busy and those guys are free 
I would imagine a male bottom would have to be exceptional to get paid.

Yes, but the ProDomme who’s were personally submissive were also some of the best I knew.  I do not fit into the category of personally submissive and do feel that it was a handicap in that, since it was harder for me to understand the internal mindset of the clients (at least the ones who were irregular) whereas those who were already more intoned to the submissive mindset were., frankly, more able to ‘wing it’.

Status: offline 		I can only answer for my self, but in my lifestime, that I have been exposed to BDSM.......I have been swamped with male submissives, offers from male submissives, propositions from male submissives...... if I had unlimited time, and energy, I could have a male submissive for each hour of the day. I would never pay a man to serve me. If say he was mowing my lawn, I would supply the lawn mower, and gas and oil for it, but would I give him money for doing it?..... no.....but if he did a good job, I may allow him to cook me dinner afterwards, and if he is reallllly good, he may be allowed to serve it to me, and just possibly join me for said dinner. .
