Yes, age does matter to me in terms of BDSM.
If someone isn't legally an adult, I don't want to have anything to do with them.
If someone is more than a decade older than me, that's a limit of mine reflecting some things from my childhood that frankly isn't anyone's business to judge or complain about -- accept my limits as you'd want yours accepted.
I'm also more attracted to younger men but that's a personal preference thing.
All adults younger than me are not equal however because then we get into things like similar backgrounds, compatible lifegoals, and other important matters.
