jaguar, I think WW is a great plan, but it just doesn't work for me. I think the reason is that, even though I can stay within my allotted points, most of what I eat are carbs. Breakfast: cereal (carbs) Lunch: sandwich (carbs), baked chips (carbs), WW cake (carbs) Dinner: some kind of meat, salad, potatoes or corn (carbs), slice of bread (carbs) Points: Well within the range given for my weight (and yes, I used ALL of my points like you're supposed to) I was going to the gym 3x per week for 1 hour a day, hired a personal trainer, AND staying within my allotted points. Weight loss? ZERO. It frustrated my trainer almost as much as it did me. We figured it must have been the carbs, so I started the Atkins diet. But after I had to go off of it because of nasal surgery (hard to eat meat when your nose and mouth are hurting), and I gained the weight back...plus some. Aaaaaargh!
