ORIGINAL: LinnaeaBorealis i would love to know more about this diet. I seem to be stalled on losing weight, even though I have cut much out of my list of foods that I eat. Basically, i cut out most, not all, breads, butter, deserts (which i miss the most), and anything fattening. i eat lots of spinach, fresh, lots of fresh fruits and veggies. for the iron to absorbe and also for calcium (post surgery menopausal so very important as i can't take any kind of hormone) i eat at least 1 serving of cheese. i get my protein from beans and nuts, and every once in a while i do eat red meat (i tend to lean to being anemic). If i do need to eat some kind of bread, i try to make it wheat bread or whole wheat crackers, checking the package and sticking to 1 serving. 1 of my favorite meals is fresh pear slices and cheese on top of a triscuit. Then He set up an exercise routine for me that i change up some way every week or so so my body does not get too used to it and becomes stagnant. The exercises started with 3 sets of 10 each jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups (i switched it to crunches and He was fine with it) and leg lifts. i also added in what i always called lateral crunches (right elbow to left knee and vice versa) and what i call arm lifts (while laying down, lift your arms up, shoulder to elbow pointing straight up, elbow to fingertips parallel to the ground, elbows in close to the body, nothing supporting your arms elbow to fingertips, sounds easy, but really a workout when done to a very slow count of 10) and now when i do my leg lifts i flex my foot to each count pulling it up as far as i can then slowly releasing it to where i'm pointing my toe. This works the calves and inner and outter thighs and even the back of your thighs and buttocks too! Also He has me wear heels, my choice of heels is 3". Just wearing heels durring your regular day is a work out too! Hope this helps! His baby girl
