The student in the Learning Resource Center (library) at the local University at the computer next to me who ask how to spell a word. This was a native "english" speaker. i didn't understand the word he was asking about. When asked him to repeat it and how he was using it, he said "wanna, like you wanna do something". i looked him in the eye and said, "The correct spelling is 'w-a-n-t t-o'." He looked at me like i didn't know what i was talking about. [sm=Groaner.gif]

ohhhhhhhhh pure that is rich! Sounds like a lovely lovely person.. fluffy that would do it for me too... My eye roller today was...a student who hadnt done anything all year came and asked how to "fix his grade"...I said...too late bubba.

my youngest (#4) was being a complete brat, so i decided he should be kept home from a special event at the church he attends with his father. when i called his father to let him know why #4 was not permitted to go to the event, he decided that the solution was to get #4 to apologize to me for behaving badly and then i should allow him to attend anyway. hello, what the hell kind of parenting is that? brat throws a fit, refuses to listen during therapy, mouths off, comes home and starts trying to destroy things because i put my foot down and i should allow him to do something special simply because he apologizes??? the ex used to think "i'm sorry" was supposed to make up for anything he'd done wrong, any hurt he'd caused, even for raping me. now he's trying to teach our offspring the same thing? i could just scream!!!!!!!! rolling my eyes was the least of my reaction. As soon as I saw that journal post, I reported it. I happen to think that one has two profiles and they both post insults to women and rarely mention a nick, but they both think women should eat dog food and should be chained, etc. Anytime they mention a nick, I report them.
