We tend to meet publicly and pretty quickly, all things considered. If that isn't fast enough or validating enough, that kinda sux for the camera-nut. I don't like the way I come across on webcam, and I get 'stage fright', so having to 'perform' and hold down a conversation and "look domly" on webcam just freaks me out... not to mention that the few times I've relented "just to talk", the prick on the other end of the camera decided that, since I'd agreed to cam-chat, I would probably have no problem watching him wank off or humiliating him about the size of his equipment. No thanks. No cam. I do give out our phone number, if we've planned a meeting, so that the individual can get in touch with me if something changes, but if he cancels, I will -not- change over to a "phone interview" (read 'phone sex'), which we -have- had happen... the guy cancelled with my Darling because of some 'family emergency', and then 10 minute later he called her to see if she'd have phone sex with him... idiot. CFB

I too have run into the guys that think since I have a cam, and decided to turn it on for them, that they can start ordering me around. My profile says that I don't do cyber sex, however, it is in the third paragraph, so it may appear to be hidden to some idiots. I take absolutely terrible pics, but no one seems to trust my judgement on that issue....I'm just not comfortable in front of a camera...never have been. I don't ask to see a pic, for several reasons actually....I want to get to know a person on the inside first....to see if the "chemistry" is present......not exactly a foolproof way either, but it works for me. I now have a micrphone, and I'm on YH, so I can call someone's computer to talk to them.....but damn it, I'm a female, and if my word ain't good enough, well, then tough. I've always been fortunate that the people who I've been conversing with are who they say they are. That and my BS meter is pretty good......

I don't have a cam, nor would I use one to "prove" my femaleness to someone. If a person can't put in the time and effort to chat a bit, then get on the phone with me, then meet in rt, they aren't worth my while, or the "test" they're trying to give me. When someone doesn't trust after a reasonable amount of communication, it boils down to the fact that what they really don't trust is their own ability to make a sound judgement call. I have no patience for the whole "prove yourself to me" thing, really.

I've gone to meet people with nothing more than a description of what theyre wearing. Never had a problem with that.

Personally, i have met folks the same way. i think the boys on here have more issues with fakes than the girls. i literally thought the first man to ask me to "prove myself" was kidding and i laughed until he disappeared....no great loss. ~shrugs~.

If a person I am talking to seriously insists on verifying who I am I just take a picture of me holding a card with thier sn written on it. If that isn't convincing enough, tough. 100% of the people who have asked me to cam wanted wank material.
