i don't know about any of you, but it doesn't surprize me when these "revalations" come out. i expect them to be liars and cheats and shysters. why does anyone think they'll be different from the next power hungry bastard out there? what we're reduced to is trying to figure out which one will hopefully screw us over the least. when are people going to wake up to that fact? there is no "great (insert whatever phrase you wish) hope" out there, just a bunch of mediocre crooks who found a place to legally screw the public. there is no such thing as an honest politician.

Is it true that the trooper tasered Palin's 12 year old nephew? I don't know if I would have abused the powers of my office, but I might have seen him fucked up somehow.

I see a future for her on Fox News.

A perfect match.She`ll follow such fellow GOP crooks as G.Gordon Liddy and Karl Rove.

I was driving up from Florida when I 1st heard about her.The talk radio in Florida,Georgia,North and South Carolina is all right-wing.Rush wanna-bes who don`t quite cut it,but have a show.

The 1st comment I heard about her was,I like her cuz she`s pirdy and a Christian.

I thought ,ok.The next caller,gushing about her looks.That`s a recurring theme it seems.

She`ll be a hit on Fox and will fit in well with their audience.

That's what I've been saying all along: she belongs on the box (not mine, mind you). But not in news: not fluffy enough. She deserves a chat show all of her own, perhaps one where she interviews heads of state with a lecherous streak.

Who knows. Things get nasty in divorces and allegations fly. If he did, the mother should have pressed charges against him for child abuse at the time it occurred. Wonder if there is a record of any such thing? Seems like if there was, and he was found guilty it would be grounds for being fired from his job. Gotta wonder why the only thing in the official record that he did wrong was shoot a moose using his wife's permit. hmmm......

The guy she fired didn`t do the tasering.

Why do people miss that there really was a real live victim here?

The trooper`s boss.

The guy that got fired, had served honerably for years in law enforcement and didn`t deserve to be fired over Palin`s personal shit.

He had nothing to do with the bro-in-law/trooper`s issues.

She shouldn`t be given a pair of scissors,let alone the power of the office of VP or POTUS.

I heard the fired boss say that he tried to save her from this trouble but that she couldn`t help herself.

He`s actually a stand-up guy and can now feel vindicated.

And it would have been SO SIMPLE to do the hatchet job professionally. Have your Chief of Staff meet with the Union Leader and they could have discussed it quietly and everything would have been taken care of.

Christine Todd Whitman would have done it right.
