          So I turn on CNN last night, figuring I'll catch how the Palin report is playing, and instead, Larry King is reporting on a single stack of 5000-ish voter registrations forms turned in by ACORN, and every one of the 2100 that have been checked so far is fraudulent.

        ACORN, and certain uneasy segment of the Dem base, are not going to mix very well.

Not enough people have bothered to read, or take seriously what they may have read, regarding the fraudulent elections of '00 and '04. Until that happens we'll continue getting "more of the same."

There was a documentary on the BBC about this sort of thing and the Republicans are far from innocent. I remember people who lost their homes where having their right to vote challenged by the Republicans in one state and succeeding in getting people's right to vote denied on technical grounds.  One other scary thing about the American voting system was that people have the right to challenge other people's right to vote actually in a polling station and the Republicans are very good at doing just that. One thing that did appear to come out of this programme was that there seemed to be enough Americans concerned about such activities but it is the partizan activists who complain about the other side that don't want anything done because it means their practices will be outlawed with their opponents.

As has been stated, a few extra voters here and a few less voters there, it all evens up but people's rights are being denied for partizan politics.

There's an old political saying that we saw in effect in 2000: Democrats want to see that every vote is counted. Republicans wan to see that every vote is counted accurately. This ACORN mess should not surprise anyone. And it will not be explained just like Ayers, Reverend Wright and Tony Rezko were not.

      Looks like there is going to be plenty of mud in the air to obscure the report on Palin.

Anyone that would let all this silly political wrangling ruin a weekend needs to get a life. I've seen that the candidate I feel is best for the job, and voted for, is going to win. The rest is just a few flies in an otherwise excellent, pot of stew.

          Ahhh.  I see.  Maybe read twice, then, 'cuz that's not what I was talking about at all.  Increased exposure for these groups and individuals Obama has been hanging with for years is going to work against him.
