No - this is critical to your own proposition regarding the "down draught" of that lander

please dont avoid the questions - they might shed light on whether they did or didnt land after all, which is the subject of the thread

Ok, ok, I can't keep a secret any longer, it's too much to bear.  There was no moon landing, they landed in my back yard.  It was really quite the event.  Mom made rice krispy treats and tang.  Little known fact, Neil Armstrong doesn't like Tang.  The wavy flag thing?  Yeah that was me, I opened the back door to peek and secret service guys quickly slammed the door shut.  Damn those guys have no sense of humor.

If yes why were fraudulent photos issued. ?
Only arskin,

Look, what with preparing a hugely ambitious mission with computers that make my calculator look like something from Star Trek, they just plain forgot about ordering a photographer E

Actually, the computers used in the ignition system of cars even as old as the late 70s and early 80s were more powerful than the computers that were used to put men on the moon.

And yes, I think we did put men on the moon even though there are questions about some of the photo evidence.  For instance, on two different landings on two different missions, landing on nearly opposite sides of the moon the moon rocks in the fore ground of landing site photos seem to be identical in size, shape and location like both sets of photos were made on the same stage setting.  Why would NASA have to stage the photos if they actually landed on the moon? I don't know.  Maybe FotoMart lost the originals.

Oh good grief.

My freshman write papers debunking this shit.

My college freshman's comparative religion teacher wasted a whole class claiming it was a fake. And she didn't dare say anything to him for fear of retribution at grade time. She did spend the whole class furiously texting me about it though.

Shit Sparky, the musical Eprom chips in greeting cards today are more powerful the the computers in the Apollo missions!

Lordly I promised myself I would never get involved in this discussion's again but here it goes,YES the whole project was faked for one simple reason we wanted the russkies to back off the exploration of building the long range booster rocket that could take them there and at the time it was a face saver for the whole foreign policy of the USA at the time and a moral booster for the american people besides lets face it ,the cost of faking it was a whole lot less then the real deal and the excess money saved was given to the cia for their dirty little wars..Am I crazy or just up too early ..bounty...BH

Termyn8or -> RE: Did US astronauts land on the Moon ? (10/13/2008 4:58:28 AM)

Before people go on about it being a fake, realize what you are talking about.

Now here's something ironic, it is Amerocentric to think it could be faked, because one would have to believe then US owns and operates all telescopes and observatories in the world. Hmm hhhhmmmm, just like when you get off the plane in Russia everything is black and white and all the Women are fat and old standing in bread lines. Yup. And of course if you go to China everything is upside down.

In other words, if the goal was to fool the US people, they could've done that for a couple hundred grand, but to fool the world is another story. People think the radios in MIGs have vacuum tubes, and we are the only advanced country in the world. This is completely untrue.

If there's one thing I have found common in stupid people, it's that they think everyone else is stupid. In other words, you can't see what you are not looking for.

That said, I still harbor that 15% possibility that it was fake, but I give it low odds for the reason that to fool the world would have cost almost as much as really doing it.

If we did land on the moon why are we screwing around with the Russian space station. It has been 40 years people. We surely could have had a station set up on the moon by now.

Do you deny fraudulent pics were issued ?

Absolutely, and Musicmystery is correct. Every single and if I may be so bold...and I am, ridiculous charge to this effect has been debunked a long time ago.
