ORIGINAL: blackdomuk good point but if they aint interested why cant they say so ? is it so unreasonable to expect a reply? if you ask someone the time of day, wouldnt you expect a reply? its common courtesy to answer when one is spoken to and it costs nothing. Well, they don't relaly need to, do they? No reply -is- a reply. It's a pretty clear statement that they aren't interested. I know it's frustrating not to get a response. I've had it happen to me a few times, but I think of it this way--if the person isn't willing to take the time to respond, that is, to fit within one's ideas of politeness, they clearly aren't the right partner. I feel that it's a -fast- way to sort out unsuitable people/=. Also, you might try meeting people at real life events as opposed to on the net. I find partners are -much- easier to come by when we're faces, not pixles.
