I certainly agree that the OP was not comfortable, followed her instincts, and unfolding events proved she chose wisely. I am little concerned with the idea that any Dom that wants to meet with a sub in a private location is more likely to be a dangerous psycopath than any typical male that wants to meet a chick in a private location. (I am getting gender specific here, which I normally try and avoid.) I have several well meaning friends that completel panic any time I meet anyone that I "found off the Internet" or met through any swinger or bdsm type event. Yet these same girls will pick up a man at a bar and head to his house or take him back to her place without much thought. I am veering off topic, but it seems that we (the general we) are believing our own bad press. I am always an advocate for safety, common sense, and good judgment. But is the fact that he identifes as a Dom and she a submissive any more cause for alarm? Do we subconsciously believe what some suggest - that those involved with the bdsm lifestyle are unstable, unhealthy, be-careful-of-them freaks?
