We have lately had some awesome threads about expectations, questions that should be asked---now I pose to My esteemed colleagues--what are your greatest fears?

I am afraid of getting lost and afraid of driving. I do both very well and very often.

I'm also afraid of rejection and retaliation.

Needles. It's not quite a fear, but I get sick watching people get poked, and I tense up incredibly whenever I get a shot.
Being my easily trusting self at the wrong time.

(Not serious) Nuclear war.

Being taken in by yet another liar, when it's so difficult for me to trust in the first place. Bees, wasps, hornets, since I am allergic to the stings. Spongebob Squarepants. Well, I'm not *afraid* of Spongebob, but he disturbs me on a visceral level.

Failure to protect and care for those who have given me their trust. After watching The English Patient, I didn't sleep for almost 48 hours and had nightmares for weeks. It was one of the most terrifying horror movies I've ever seen.

hmmm, I think we were separated at birth--smiles, major allergic to stings, SpongeBob, egads dont get Me started on that one--and well not finding the man/boy/sub love---I have one under consideration and well...

Needles-I actually get faint and queasy when I have to have a shot.

Bees, wasps, dirt dobbers and anything else that can sting and make me swell up like a balloon.

FnF with a golfshaft when I've been particularly bratty.

what i fear the most is being lied to or being yelled at. mental abuse can do that to a person i guess

I like water and I love Fire but I never liked the idea of burning nor drowning while alive. The idea of watching your flesh drip off like hot butter or not being able to breath just dosen't seem fun to me. Other than that, I don't like thinking about police showing up at my door to inform me that a loved one such as my pet has died or been in a serious accident.

When I use to work in Trauma units and the ambulance, my biggest worry at work was seeing a loved one roll in on a stretcher or having to repsond to an accident only to be supprised by the sight of someone I know being in the wreck. I'm glad that I'm now in pharmacuticals and medical supplies. Atleast I now don't have that thought going in the back of my mind any more.
