Congress is "enjoying" a hat sized popularity in the polls at around 10%-12%. "Change" is in the air and yet it seems incumbants are re-elected based on national trends for President since most voters don't seem to split their votes. Personally, I live in New Jersey where the democrat machine has ruled the roost. Our state is famous for its corruption, high taxes, and a Governor, formerly with Goldman, Sachs and seems to have forgotten his "campaign promises". Seems the Goldman people are all over the place these days. On the other hand I work in Pennsylvania these day and the local Congressman Patrick Murphy, a democrat, seems to understand the issues and works well with constitnuents. I wonder how other people feel about their own Congressional representative, and if the party of their Presidential pick determines who they vote for in local elections?
