ORIGINAL: Evanesce quote:
But families have as much right to go out with their littles ones just as everyone has the right to go out with whoever. Sure they do, but if they do so with little ones who have not been adequately taught how to behave at the dinner table, then their going out is interfering with MY right to a pleasant dinner, and that's happening far too frequently for me. In your earlier post, you talked about our rights being stripped away ... and I SOOOO agree with you on that one ;) But in this one ... you having a pleasent dinner in someone else's private establishment is not a right. And if you are unhappy about the service, atmosphere, dining experience - etc ... it IS your right NOT to go there again. In fact, if I had a bad experience at a resturant, I would contact the owner, explain that I would not be going there again, tell them EXACTLY why, and also tell all my friends. Interestingly enough, sometimes I Like to tell the owners when I have had a GREAT experience too ... we don't do that often enough in life. fergus
