. . . And timing is crucial. You need to wait till the end of the call, when they're impatient to get off the phone.

You: "I've got a couple of quick jokes, if you want to hear them"
Other: "Well, actually, I've got to . . . ."
You: "What has a one inch dick and hangs down? - A bat!"
Other: (thinks 'jeez, that was crap.") Says irritatedly, "Yeah, good one"
You: "OK, what has a ten inch dick and hangs up?"

- Hang up the phone immediately after you've said the last line.

I pulled this one on my daughter this evening as I was driving over to pick up my grandson for the week. Took her a few minutes to call back and give me a properly indignent "DADDY!!!!!!" because she was laughing so hard.
