There is something new on my (and your) profile called "featured video". Many will assume it's been placed there by you...indicating your sexual preferences. It is not my (preference), nor may it be yours. It's the first time I've been offended by an offering of CM. Check your profile.

it's internal advertising.. yes some might think its your preference but not a second time.. Agree it is in the wrong place and its not clear its an ad.. Featured doesn't mean advert in my mind..

Maybe it's just a selective thing. I checked both in IE and Safari and there is no video. But I agree, if it's just an ad, most will probably catch on to that and not think much of it.

Just click the button to "view full profile". It shows up under your main photo and under your friends list, but above the box where you can type a message. Its a video ad segment on your profile page that looks (deceivingly) like its something you selected to be put there and incorporated as part of your profile.

It isn't a surprise, is it? They have to pay the bills somehow. I admit I thought it was a choice though which could have been really smart to do; provide a choice of videos that you think are hot from a series of aligned sites. They could have killed two birds with one stone.

I don't see the video in my profile, but I had someone compliment me on my video choice today. I had no idea what they were talking about, but at least I know they weren't hallucinating.

It's on my page, too. I have been giving this place high marks until today. Disappointing. That's the one drag about CM. They don't seem to make any effort to notify anyone of stuff like this. I know they have to pay the bills and I largely enjoy this free site but they dropped the ball on this one.

What are you going to do, demand a refund? It's there on mine, right under the word that says "advertisement." Not the site I would have chosen a video from, but it might not be done yet.
