Folks in the state elections office are getting death threats and bunches of calls. Then the web site was hacked.

Not a lot of fun in Ohio...

well it is like this, i heard the threat on a you tube vid when it was first posted weeks ago. now the vid is still there, but it has been edited since. i looked for the original yesterday but i was unable to find it. obviously due to the shock factor you tube had the decency to edit out the threat....but left all the other ramblings of this crazy woman. sorry i cannot produce the real unedited version.

I mentioned her to IrishKnight because unlike him, I am not of the opinion that the hate is equally shared between the two main sides. I believe that it is equally shared because I have seen it. There were a lot of crazy angry dems in the area I was living in during the 2004 election. So many were blinded by hate and anger that they couldn't talk to you without screaming. I had a friend running for state legislature as a republican. She is a sweetheart of a woman and she was treated as if she were scum. Nobody cared about issues.
Her opposition played on her naturalized citizen status, made fun publicly of her accent and acted like an ass. During their debate, he avoided answering questions on the issues and acted much like McCain has been doing.
The dark side is strong in both parties.

Dayum! That is awful.

How is this situation being handled by the authorities? Is there increased police protection for the state elections officials, who are just trying to do their jobs?
