Well, considering that i have to watch it in pieces, I still am nuts about the Exorcist.........the director's cut.  But I love Halloween, cuz that's when you can find all the good scary movies on dvd......anything with vampires or werewolves or both are good too!

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

The Crow, starring Brandon Lee

How many cuts should I repeat?
How many fates should I accept?
Does it have an end?

If I could fly across the sky like that far away bird,
I'd always tell you of my great love for you
Because I always feel you in me.

I second this.  Even though it isn't exactly a movie it is a must see every year.

I agree with az on this one... If it's horror, it's for meh! All the better if it"s mixed with comedy

ArmoredOne -> RE: Favorite Halloween Movie (10/24/2008 12:59:06 AM)

There are so many classics to choose from for this to be an easy cut-and-dry topic.

Clint Eastwood's acting debut as a rocket-firing pilot in 'Tarantula'
Day of the Triffids
Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, which is easily Bill Mahr's best acting ever.
The Fly, with Vincent Price.  Goldbloom is good, but still, the Master is the Master.
The Blob.
Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman.
Kingdom of the Spiders, with good ol' William Shatner.  MUCH better spider flick than Arachnophobia.
Children of the Corn.
Alien
Alien 2, for a little humor with your gore.

I mean, come on, this just scratches the surface.

Asherdelampyr -> RE: Favorite Halloween Movie (10/24/2008 12:59:52 AM)

All of Bela Lugosi's Films

ArmoredOne -> RE: Favorite Halloween Movie (10/24/2008 1:02:20 AM)

Nah, not all of them.  Most of them, yes, but White Zombie just never interested me the way the older ones did.  Maybe it was just that it was in color and I grew up on Bela being in black and white.

sambamanslilgirl -> RE: Favorite Halloween Movie (10/24/2008 6:07:39 AM)

Event Horizon and In The Mouth of Madness - both starring Sam Neil going insane ...both i would watch in the dark with a bucket of popcorn.
