"The divorce was too sudden, there wasn't any warning and it really pissed me off," explained the piano teacher. This virtual husband killer didn't make any plans for revenge in the real world.

The woman is suspected of breaking into a computer and manipulating electronic data. No formal charges were made but if she is charged and found guilty she faces up to 5 years imprisonment or a fine of up to $5,000.

In recent years a life of virtual reality has increasingly brought consequences in real life. Last August in the United States a woman was charged with planning the murder of a friend she got to know from the online game 'Second Life'. Additionally in Tokyo a teenager was accused of stealing the password of another online player to defraud him of virtual currency worth $360,000.

Status: offline 		When a person is committing real crimes in the real world because of situations in simulated realities on the Net, it is time for some serious intervention and therapy.  And criminal charges should be filed if necessary.  I think this types of problems are a sad indication of isolation and alienation in our society.

Status: offline 		People get caught up in these games and it becomes their reality. No Im not shocked to hear something like this. I've played online games  and I've heard many times of marriages breaking up and people moving to another country to be with someone they've never met face-to-face. Its really sad as for some its a form of mental illness.

That's what I thought as well
I can't think of any other game a 43 year old piano teacher will play, that allows in-game marriage, that people take so seriously, and get so pissed when they die.
