Dedicated to pointing out the things in life that actually bind us together, since we seem to be so adamant about pointing out the differences, sometimes vehemently. Have you ever noticed that no matter what you do, teenagers will rebel against you the exact same way you did against your parents and you are left with only one thought? To call your parents and apologize for anything and everything you did from the age of 10 until you moved out, and a few yeas afterwards, just for good measure.

Od course, hun....it's all due to the infamous "mother's curse"....you know...."I hope you have a child just like you!" Works everytime! And have you ever noticed that the same rebellious teenagers/kids try all the old stuff, but think it's new? And when you mention that YOU did the same thing growing up, they don't believe that someone else already thought of the stoopid stunt they just pulled? Oh, the folly of youth! Oh yes, I've apologized to my parents on MANY an occasion!

i've been apologizing to my mother for the last 4 yrs and will be until the end of time both of my girls are split personalities of myself when i was a kid - plus i was the only child until i was 11. my mother is totally enjoying this especially when my oldest and i argue ...she keeps reminding me - you should have been much nicer to me.
