Hmm. Short of finding a full-blown geisha school, you could explore some of the individual arts geisha practice, few if any of which are unique to geisha, or other Japanese arts-- flower arranging, tea ceremony, samisen playing, traditional dance, etc. Depending where you live, you might be able to turn up a bored/lonely wife who's accompanied her businessman husband to Australia and who would jump at the chance to engage with a "foreigner" and teach you an art she's familiar with. (If you're in a city, hang advertisements in Japanese restaurants.) You could learn a lot from even a non-geisha Japanese woman about controlled, elegant, outwardly submissive behavior. You might also learn a thing or two from study of Japanese language-- a need for observation and empathy is pretty much built into it. Just a few thoughts. Good luck!
